Simple AMAZING - Great experience. Cowboy John was amazing. We had a great time. We learned a lot about the movies and stars. He told us great stories and made our night amazing. I strongly recommend it.

Fun, even on a cloudy night - Cowboy John did a great job entertaining us on a very cloudy night ! I loved the trip out to the field in the military truck (family less fussed), the cows were up very close but it felt safe and controlled, loads of stories and anecdotes

It might have been cloudy, but Cowboy John was the real star! - We knew we wouldn’t see any stars in the sky, but our host Cowboy John proved to be the real star. Without spoiling the whole thing, you will get a humvee ride, a meet and greet with dozen of longhorn cattle, and delicious s’mores at a movie set fort seen in dozens of movies throughout the decades. And if you’re luckier than us, thousands of nighttime stars. Cowboy John is a master storyteller, and he kept us entertained for the duration. If you enjoy a relaxing out of the ordinary evening, don’t miss this experience!

Stars and stories. - Was a great time. Would definitely recommend. We went out to what was left of an old western movie set. We enjoyed a warm camp fire, surround by beautiful stars yummy smores and great stories. I can't explain what a great feeling that was. Awesome....

Great adventure, even with small children! - Cowboy John was so nice, full of incredible stories and knowledge, and the experience was amazing! The stars were so bright, the campfire warm, and the smores delicious. Highly, highly recommend! We traveled with kids and Cowboy John did such a great job engaging them too.

This was a perfect... - This was a perfect ending to a full day of activities. Our guide John meet us promptly at the arranged time. We traveled into the dark of night far from the town onto private property where there were longhorns, a campfire, and parts of an old movie set. John then entertained our group with Kanab and surrounding areas trivia, history, stories and I believe some tall tales. He was very entertaining, funny and interesting. We later roasted smores and star gazed before our return trip home. The whole experience recieves a 9 out of 10 stars. I had to deduct 1 star due to my distaste for the cow poop I stepped in. I highly recommend this fun event to anyone, any age.

Stargazing and s’mores - A picture-perfect night in Kanab! We loved the chance for stargazing in a dark-sky designated space. Cowboy John was a great guide with fun stories. We learned about longhorns, met friendly steer, and learned how to make the perfect s’more. This was a terrific experience!

Awesome experience! - Very cool experience! Cowboy John was awesome and kept us laughing with his stories and tales of the movies filmed here. We loved being able to see and pet all the longhorn cows! Stargazing by the fire with s’mores and ghost stories was amazing!

Loved the cows and s’mores - Cowboy John was a great story teller and guide for the evening. We had a wonderful time meeting the cows and roasting marshmallows. The stars were beautiful. Be sure to choose a night with limited moon interference. Great experience!

Experience was fine and curious. - We rode in a military truck out to the ranch, saw a couple longhorn from a distance and then told about all the lovely longhorn that we could pet if they weren’t at the sunflower hill. Gotta respect the sunflower craving! The stories went a little long in the tooth prob to make up for the cloudy night. Marshmallows were yummy!
