- Egypt 1 Slot Canyon - Meet our guide at Canyon Country Lodge and begin your journey. You will then drive down Hole In the Rock Road to the Egypt Canyon Trailhead. You will then spend 2 hours hiking and canyoneering through this amazing slot canyon. After arriving back at your vehicle you make the drive back to meeting point in Escalante.

Egypt 1 provides a condensed but diverse experience. High-skilled adventurers have the option of downclimbing the whole canyon, while others can opt for 3 brief rappels. The narrows offer a high-quality experience and the challenges spike your interest just enough. If led rightly, this can be an excellent introduction to canyoning for families or novices. The downclimbs can be managed effectively with teamwork and mutual assistance. However, bear in mind that this canyon can contain a fair amount of water following heavy rains.

20/10 Would Do Again - Niel is AWESOME! Went with a group of friends and had an absolute blast. Great getting a little help seeing some of the less traveled slot canyons I’d be a little cautious do to do on my own. We all are still talking about it. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing slot canyon hike and canyoneering! - Neil was an absolutely amazing tour guide through Egypt slot canyon! This was a once in a life time experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a slot canyon tour with some canyoneering!

Rapelling in Egypt - Rapelling in Egypt slot was the highlight of our trip. It’s hard believe I actually did it because I’m afraid of heights, but our guide was so great and made it so easy. Would definitely do it again.
