Named after the Mormon Pioneer Ebenezer Bryce, Bryce Canyon became a National Park in 1924. Bryce is famous for its unique geology, which consists of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. The erosional force has shaped the colorful limestone rock of the Claron Formation into bizarre shapes, including slot canyons, windows, fins, and spires called hoodoos. Tinted with colors too numerous and subtle to name, these whimsically arranged rocks create a wondrous landscape of mazes, offering some of the most exciting and memorable walks and hikes imaginable.

Great service & save money. - Seeing areas of the National Park at our own pace was a bonus. Great alternative to hiring a personal guide.

Self guided driving tour - This self guided driving tour was perfect. It was spring break and crowded so we bypassed some of the initial stops to get ahead of the crowd and then saw those stops on the way out.

Great idea - Excellent value for money, was like having your own tour guide in the car. Can stop and start whenever you want to. Would use again for other areas.

Great way to see a Bryce without a personal guide. - The Viator tours are a great inexpensive way to get more information out of your park experience. Bryce was no exception.

Highly recommend. - Loved this tour and the guide was super. Amazing how they get this program to follow you and turn on when you get near the next stop. We thoroughly enjoyed the history shared. We found some stops were too full to stop so we hit them on the way back. We then had to open the list and hit that stop manually. Really an excellent program and I highly recommend it to those do it yourselfers like us.

OK overview but by all means go with a live guide. - It was a little glitchy to get started and lost track at one location. Took a guided tour next day that was far more effective at showing off the incredible beauty of Bryce Canyon.

Busted app - Directions are vague if you use it from the Viator app. Could not figure out how to get it to work. Apparently another app needs to be downloaded from another site. Get your tickets .very confusing.
