A must see for History Lovers and Beer Lovers alike! - Had a fantastic brewery tour with Rob. It was fascinating being somewhere with so much history and charm! Even as a non-beer drinker myself, I really enjoyed it. A beer tasting paddle at the end for my partner and I had a glass of delicious cider. Well worth it if visiting Hobart!

Perfect on a Sunny Day - Cascade Brewery is in a beautiful setting with a mix of historical and production structures. we had planned to go on the brewery tour but it was fully booked so we went on the historical tour - it was excellent. We would highly recommend the tour as it gives a comprehensive picture of the varied history of the brewery and includes interesting historical insights including the importance of the water in the area. The gardens at the brewery are wonderful - large trees, lawns, seating with picnic blankets provided, and drinks and snacks which can be purchased. A perfect place on a sunny afternoon. VLTraveller

Great experience - Enjoyed the morning tour very much. Found it very informative even though the brewery wasn’t operating. Loved the tasting paddle at the end of the tour (could carry it to restaurant and finish it with lunch). Had a terrific lunch then went for a hike behind the brewery. A great day out!

Beer ! - A nice spot to visit. With drink the cost can mount :) It is the last stop on the HoHo bus route before turning to stop at the Cascade Female Factory - a MUST if you like history and a great story - then back into the city. We did the beer tour which I felt was a tad over done. It was certainly an in-depth discussion on beer making :) We all donned hard hats and hi-vis vests. The tasting at the end was very good. The tour includes everything from seeing the vats and equipment to tasting all the products that go into making our beers. It was interesting but I felt could have been tightened up considerably without losing any of the flavour (no pun intended). I would have liked more discussion as we tasted the paddle at the end, but this was quite short. Nice spot to have lunch but can be busy at lunchtimes. Maybe an early or late lunch and book an appropriate tour (I think you can ring and book). A lovely outdoor place to sit and eat but watch out for the bees. You can sit inside and the fire was perfect. Staff efficient and helpful.
