THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY YOU CAN GET. - This company has been great in all aspects. Firstly they have the best price possible and the best price you can find for the activity. Secondly, the agency answer ALL my long questions all the time, the guy who came for us in Durban was so nice ( Grant) I felt a real good and detailed service and the experience in Lesotho was great to have an introduction and a great peaceful and beautiful landscape. If someone want to include the itinerary from Southafrica and you are in Durban, you will be surprised of how great this experience is. Company is the best by far for this service and I asked all of them. Best price, amazing service. Impossible to fail. Thank you for all and listen to me so many times. You did your best.

Well-organized day tour of the Sani Pass - Roof of Africa did a wonderful job organizing our day trip through the Sani Pass from Durban. Both of our drivers were friendly and very knowledgeable, so I would highly recommend this company. I did think the tour was quite intense for a day activity: it's a lot of time to spend in a car. Staying in Underberg might be better in that sense, although this has its own downsides (e.g. making your itinerary longer).

Sani Pass Tour Adventure - We were picked up by Thabo at 6 am at the Durban Marina as we were there on our boat. Thabo, who is a wealth of knowledge on South African and Lesotho history, drove us about 3 hours to Underberg where we met Tsebo who was our guide up the Sani Pass. Tsebo picked us up in a Land Cruiser for the 2+ hour drive up to the Sani pass and into Lesotho. We stopped many times to see historical places and learn all about the flora and fauna and the history of the pass. The last 8km was quite an adventure so be prepared for a slow bumpy but spectacularly beautiful ride! After crossing into Lesotho we were invited into a local home, learned about the local culture, and tasted fresh bread made in a Dutch oven over cow dung coals. Then we had lunch at the Sani Pass Mountain Lodge where you’ll find a nice bar and deck overlooking the pass road. At that point I would have liked to stay a night and continue further into Lesotho but we didn’t have time. Tsebo took us back to Underberg where Thabo picked us up and brought us back to Durban. It was a long day but totally worth it!! I highly recommend it!!

Sani Pass 2023 " Mountains that Sing" - This is my second time up the mountain with the same service provider and Roof of Africa never fails to impress. Our Tour guide this time was Nathi and he was amazing with a wealth of knowledge of Lesotho, taking us into the surrounding village to taste the steam bread. I genuinely would have liked for the trip to extend more to the Captial, perhaps next time. Booking with ROA was seamless, with constant communication that made the entire experience stress free. NOW THE RIDE UP AND DOWN THE MOUNTAIN: If you have this on your bucket list, then please do not hesitate, the sheer experience laying eyes on the magnitude of our landscape is breathtaking. The ride offers, small burst of adrenaline that will make you squeak in delight. When you get to the TOP, you understand that South Africa is truly majestic country. Thank you, Roof of Africa, for yet another well worth the 3 hours' drive it took us to get there.
