Informative and entertaining! - An interesting and informative tour which starts with a talk in their small nursery where they explain the process of growing cacao trees and their life stages. You see the young plants (trees) in different stages and also how they graft trees together to make the growing cycle quicker and stronger. The next stage is the walk around the plantation and seeing the different types of cacao at different stages of ripeness. It’s a beautiful estate that’s well kept. The real fun part came at the end where you make your own chocolate bar from cocoa knibs, cocoa butter and sugar. Make sure you are feeling strong as it takes some serious pounding, but it’s great fun. Finished off with a lunch street food style and then to collect the bar you made which has been set and chilled. Definitely an experience we’d recommend and it will be certainly more meaningful when we visit our local Hotel Chocolat shop back in the UK

Amazing Family Experience definitely recommended - An awesome experience from beginning to end. JOHN, our tour guide for the Tree garden and rain forest portion. Marina for the chocolate making portion was also fun and kept us motivated thru the process. Great history along the way. Lunch was alos great be prepared for more island flair and infusion of chocolate dishes . Dessert was also awesome.

The whole experience was... - The whole experience was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The walk through the garden was beautiful and we got to taste all sorts of delicious plants. The chocolate making was lots of work, but a fun insight into the history of chocolate. Also if you are a milk chocolate lover like my partner, be aware you are going to be making dark chocolate. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Even if you don’t like dark chocolate, the whole experience is a ton of fun.

Very enjoyable tour. - When we did this tour 10 years ago, it seemed like a small, traditional cocoa and coffee plantation with limited facilities. It is so much bigger now, but still retains its traditional ways and friendliness. The guide was clear and knowledgeable, and the tour took us through the various stages in the preparation of coffee and cocoa beans and the making of chocolate. In the 'old' tour we did a tasting that involved pairing cocoa powder with various other tastes, such as chilli. In the 'new' tour we actually made some dark chocolate ourselves. This was really good fun, but the chocolate I made tasted horrible, and on balance I preferred the old tasting. Really good lunch. Very enjoyable.

Best experience in the island! - Lots of fun, also interesting to see how the chocolate is made before we got a chance to do this ourselves. The staff were great, chocolate delicious and the views were something out of a movie!!!! Surprisingly the white chocolate mash was so tasty and the ice cream sundae were to die for. I cannot recommend this enough. Monique and Nathan were two of a great team of staff whose name I managed to catch. Book this experience immediately

excellent - Awesome experience! Just be prepared for lots of steps, a short walk through the jungle, and some serious coffee bean pounding to make your own chocolate—but it’s all part of the fun!

Maybe skip the lunch and have a short stroll around - Good experience of cacao plantation, but overpriced, prolonged unnecessarily , with childish commentary and a very average restaurant
