A must for any chocolate lover - As big chocolate fans, it was increrdible to learn about the prroduction of cacao all the way into the production of chocolate. Our guide was really funny and shared so much interesting information with us. Rabot estate is so beautiful, and walking through the farm was so lush and colorful. We also got to taste the cacao pulp, which was really fun and absolutely delicious. Later getting to make our own chocolate bars was so fun, but also really hard. Really makes you appreciate chocolate!

Super fun experience for couples, friends, any group (even kids)! - My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the Tree to Bar experience at Project Chocolat. Mr. Ziggy was so knowledgeable about the cacao plantation, and super engaging with the group. The lady who taught us how to make the chocolate bar was very thorough as well, and both made it for such a fun experience. I could not recommend more!

Don’t sleep on this experience - From the start to finish this was well worth the price. Both my wife, son (age 14) and I loved the history, food and experience. Don’t sleep on this experience.

Worthwhile Memorable Experience - Very good experience. Tree to bean was very informative and guides were knowledgeable. Making your own chocolate bar was great fun. Lunch was delicious. It was incredibly hot, so some fans in the chocolate making and lunch areas would have been lovely.

Ok but could be so much better - Bean to Bar Tour - Great concept and making the choc bar was good fun but… tour group was far to big (about 30 people) the rainforest walk to plantation was all of 100m to see just a couple of cacao trees with no option to see harvest, drying, processing etc. I really wanted to see the full process! For a site that pushed its eco credentials v disappointed to see single use plastics (spoons in making choc, dressing pots etc), air con blasting in loos with doors open, not much green energy present (why not solar on all shed roofs). Experience was really saved by our guide (Veronique) who injected her passion and personality otherwise felt it was really not great value and could (should?) have been so much more

Ok, but an expensive day out. - Tree to Bar was “ok” but calling it an experience is a bit of marketing. The talk about cocoa farming was interesting but the scale of the trees they took is round felt more like a garden than a plantation. Equally some of the features described were 2-3 mins of the talk. Chocolate making was fun and food was nice but it was a lot of money for what you got. Had it been £20 less I’d have said it was good or excellent.
