- Damajagua Waterfalls - After being collected from your hotel, make your way to the 27 Falls of Damajagua. Nature has crafted some awe-inspiring pools, etched out of limestone with stalactites and stalagmites. You will be introduced to the local waterfall guides and provided with a life jacket, water shoes, and helmet. If you want to take photos on the tour please only bring waterproof cameras.
A moderate 45-minute uphill hike through a beautiful jungle landscape gets you to the 12th waterfall. From there you head back down-river and you jump, slide and swim your way through a series of spectacular waterfalls, canyons, and pools. The tour includes jumps of up to 25 feet (8 meters), however, there is another way down if you don’t feel like jumping.
- Puerto Plata - After changing into your dry clothes, we will enjoy a lunch buffet.

Great tours & guides - Simply the best. They even arranged for us where to stay during our vacation.
On the tours that Richard took us we were the only ones on the tour (Due to Covid-19)
we never felt like there was any pressure for us to go move at a faster pace. All in all we had a wonderful trip & just want to leave a note of thanks.

Adrenaline Rush - Even though our tour was limited to 7 slides / jumps because of covid precautions it was still very much worth it. Richard our driver and tour coordinator was on time and prepared us well prior to our trek and jumps. Great conversation on the drive to the falls. Ask him about his navy days when we was a young buck. He provided our falls guide with his personal gopro to film our adventure. He sent those pictures and video clips to us free of charge. Eddy our guide was great. I think he said he has been doing these tours for over 15 years. Very friendly and professional. Took perfect videos and pics along the way for us to remember the experience. The falls themselves were really something special. Swimming through the river canyon from falls to falls was breathtaking. It was the highlight of our Dominican trip. I'm looking forward to coming back once tourism is back up and running 100% to do all 27 falls.

Expensive lunch... - The falls are much smaller than pictured. Details of the excursion were poor and a number of people panicked when they were handed lifejackets because they did not want to be in the water. (It was optional, but not communicated) The lunch buffet was great. The demo of coffee and cocoa was a scam. We were told the cocoa was processed without sugar but still tasted sweet. We bought several containers only to find out once we were home that it was not what we sampled. We took this excursion through NCL.

Totally different tour than described, no lunch at Maimon - Unfortunately we experienced a totally different tour than announced in the description: before and after the waterfalls we were driven to two places where they wanted to sell tourists stuff (wooden figures, souvenirs, cigars etc.). We extra booked this tour because it said that we are only going to the waterfalls and having dominican lunch at a local fish restaurant in Maimon. The waterfall tour was great (but because of the company who arranges it there) but afterwards we didn‘t go to Maimon to a restaurant as promised. We just had to eat directly at the waterfall company areal where was a Dominican buffet for all tourists. Also no fish part of it. The guides were nice and friendly but that wasn’t the tour that was originally offered!
