A Good Driver Makes All the Difference - We had an amazing experience thanks to our wonderful driver Leo. We were traveling with my mom, who has limited mobility, through the rigorous terrain of the Amalfi coast. Leo was a saint, doing everything in his power to help her and make her comfortable. We cannot thank him enough and also a very special thank you to Umberto who allowed Leo to continue driving for us for the rest of our tour!! Cannot recommend more highly ❤️

Flexible, responsive and on-time. Highly recommend! - We didn't do a tour with them but used them for all of our private transfers (7-8 in total). I spoke to several car companies before choosing them and so glad I did! It was super easy to deal with them. Communication was seamless and prompt. The cars were clean and the drivers were always on time. In most cases they would arrive much before time and would wait patiently for us. Umberto made our travel smooth and stress free!

A Wonderful Experience - My wife and I booked a private Amalfi Coast tour this past week in August and had an amazing experience! Our driver and friend, Niconcello, was the perfect guide. He knew all the best picture spots along the way, helped us capture the perfect shots and was SO passionate about the history of the Amalfi Coast. Nico also recommended different attractions and things to see in each of the Amalfi towns, he even called and got us the perfect lunch reservation in Ravello. What a wonderful experience.

The Toast of the Sorrento Coast! - Our tour was absolutely one of the best we’ve ever had. The Sorrento coast was stunning and Pompeii was a page out of history. The only thing better than the sights was our guide Giuseppe. He made us feel like a friend and his personality was easy going and humorous. We highly recommend Umberto Limos. Grazie Giuseppe!

Top-Tier Service — Our Go-To in Positano! - Excellent, professional service once again from Umberto Limos! We first used this company eight years ago during our Italian vacation and were so impressed that we made sure to reach out to them again for our recent trip. We’re so glad we did!
Umberto himself has become a friend over the years—he speaks excellent English and always makes you feel welcomed and well cared for. He and his team of drivers are the epitome of professionalism, offering top-notch private limo service in pristinely maintained Mercedes Benz vehicles. This isn’t a taxi—this is luxury transportation done right.
This time around, we also had the pleasure of riding with Max and Gennaro, who were both wonderful—friendly, prompt, and extremely courteous. Every ride was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. Gennaro even picked us up at 4AM in Sorrento to make sure we made our return home flight from Rome in ample time.
Be sure to book well in advance, especially during the busy season (May through October), as they are in high demand—and for good reason!

Best driving tour we have had - My family and I did a driving tour of the Amalfi coast and our driver Umberto (not the owner) was absolutely amazing! He knew everything. As we were driving he pointed out so many things we would have never known. He was so kind, funny, and had great suggestions on where to go and eat. I would book every tour with him.

A great shore excursion day for the Amalfi coast, Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii! - We had a great experience touring the Amalfi Coast, with stops in Sorrento, Positano, and Pompeii, plus a visit to a local limoncello factory. It was a full day, but everything was really well-paced and enjoyable.
Our guide, Gennaro, was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He shared a lot of interesting facts and stories along the way and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. What really stood out was how organized and attentive he was, especially in keeping us on time to make sure we got back to our cruise ship without any stress.
Along the way, Gennaro also organised a limoncello factory visit, which was a nice touch — quick, fun and with some great samples to try.
As part of our trip, the company also organised a Pompeii tour guide who was very experienced, humorous and knowledgeable.
Overall, it was a brilliant day out and definitely worth the private tour for a group/family as opposed to a cruise ship led shore excursion, as you can still ensure you are back on time!

Amalfi coast tour - Umberto was amazing! My husband & I visited Italy for our honeymoon. We booked a private driver to tour the amalfi coast and couldn’t have been happier with Umberto! He is kind, informative & truly exceptional! He gave us the history of all of the towns, took our picture at different destinations & made us a reservation for lunch with a beautiful view! We couldn’t recommend him enough.

Personal tour of AMalfi - Our driver, Nico, was just amazing. Friendly, funny and very accomodating. We became friends very quickly. He showed us places we would never have found on our own including some of the smaller towns people tend to miss. His car was immaculate and he is a really great driver managing tight spaces with ease. If you can get Nico do it!! You will be very happy you did!
