Excellent way to learn about food and culture - We absolutely loved this experience! Our guides were unbelievably sweet and excited to share their culture with us. We walked through a lemon grove and learned about how they grow, took a tuk tuk to watch cheese being made (fascinating to see how all cheese starts with the same ingredients) and do an olive oil tasting, and then stopped for lunch to make our own pizzas. All in all a fun day! They were also able to accommodate me being gluten free.

Fantastic Experience! - It was such a fun experience! A trip out into the countryside of Massa Lubrense, a guided tour of the farm and then a great ride by Tuk Tuk to the olive oil tasting, cheese demonstration and tasting and then limoncello. Then off to another part via Tuk Tuk to make our own pizza. Had a lot of fun and was really informative. A great time was had by all.

Fantastic fun at the Farm - My wife and I had a wonderful day , From the warm welcome from the family in the morning , the coffee and cake before the tour even started , then the walk around the lemon trees and then taking the little red Tuk Tuk Ferrari up to the olive oil tasting with bread . Which were very tasty, then the Cheese class demonstration, where we got to try fresh Ricotta and Mozzarella which was beautiful, after which we had a beautiful home made Limoncello. Then back in to the mini Ferrari’s to go back down to the family restaurant for pizza , where we got hands on experience with the Dough and sauce and adding the cheese . They then cooked it in the big open fire oven and served it . Beautiful. Wonderful day I highly recommend this tour . Lovely family ❤️

Highly recommended. - This was one of the best tours we as a family have ever been on. It was late in the season and they were still happy to host us. The cheese was amazing, my children loved the tuk-tuks and we learnt so much. Fresh produce made well.

An amazing tour - Highly Recommended!! - My Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour while visiting Sorrento. We were picked up in a Tuk Tuk and driven to the village of Schiazzano in Massa Lubrense. Elsa, Salvatore & Benedetto - all members of an extended family and our hosts for the tour - were incredible, very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing the olive and lemon trees in the family garden, and the homemade lemonade was so refreshing on a hot summer's day. We took another Tuk Tuk ride to do some olive oil tasting and watch a cheese making demonstration and then of course we got to taste lots of cheese! The ricotta tarts were a delightful surprise tasting too. We learned how Limoncello was made - insider tip - no lemon juice (which surprised me!!) - and it tasted great. Finally we enjoyed helping to make our own pizza which we ate for lunch. I would very highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sorrento area and I sincerely thank our hosts for making this tour a highlight of our trip!!

Sadly, A Lot Has Changed - We went on this tour in 2018 when visiting the area and loved it so much that we wanted to repeat it when we were in the area again. Unfortunately, the tour has changed quite a bit and did not resemble the fun and unique experience we had the first time around. We booked a 3pm tour, but two days before were asked to switch to 9am. We eagerly shifted things around to make it work, but had we known that the experience changed so significantly, we likely would have just skipped it. The original tour included a visit to a beautiful farm, walking aisles upon aisles of the largest and most beautiful lemons and trees we’d ever seen. This tour took place in a small garden behind a family member’s home. The original tour took us to meet older family members to enjoy limoncello with. This tour we were offered a taste in the same location as the cheese demonstration and seemed like an afterthought. The original tour we stopped in a very old style restaurant owned by the family. Pizza dough flew across the restaurant, everyone laughed and smiled, and listened to Italian music. We chose our own toppings and put the pizza in the oven ourselves. The interaction and experience was so wonderful and genuine. This tour, the pizza making occurred on a patio overlooking a parking lot, the guide played quiet music on her cell phone speaker, and basically assembled our pizzas for us. It was disappointing. It was good to see “The Cheeseman” again and support his craft and the small farm, but it just wasn’t the same unfortunately.
