Worth the price as it was beautiful - Beautiful boat ride and good information given about the area. Tour guide was nice and efficient. Enjoyed seeing the glacier and the lake below the glacier.

Great experience. - Fjaerlands is a lovely town. The weather was perfect which resulted in an overall wonderful experience. It would not be so good when raining.

Great place to go for books - We went on this cruise but did not go to the glacier but instead stayed in the village which is called the book village because there are at least 10 small bookstores selling used books, many in English, in all types of buildings including old barns and sheds. It was a wonderful experience. We spoke with many of the villagers. The village has less than 300 people. We highly recommend not going onto the glacier and staying the village. There is a restaurant and cafe for lunch. It was so perfect despite the fact that it was cloudy and chilly. Also it costs a little less if that is important for you.

Breathtaking and Informative Cruise - We enjoyed this tour so much. It helped that the weather was stunning! But regardless, there would have been lots to enjoy. The scenery was breathtaking all along the way. Everything was very punctual and well timed as far as boat to bus to boat, except we would have liked maybe 30 more minutes at the museum. We arrived hungry, so eating lunch took a bit of time. Then we watched a very informative movie, which left only a bit of time for exploring the museum exhibits. The bus trip was fun and we enjoyed seeing and learning about the glacier as well as Fjaerland. There was a young woman who did an admirable job of keeping passengers in tow in the nicest of ways. And on the return trip by boat to Balestrand we sat outside without coats on. Unforgettable!

Wonderful way to experience Fjaerlands Fjord - Great fun to travel to Fjaerlands Fjord on this small boat. May be not too suitable for anyone with mobility issues or wanting to sit in comfort
