- City Tour - The tour starts at 19:00 from the reception of your hotel. Board a car, that will take you on a pleasant drive through the central part of the city and learn the history behind the old monumental buildings in Sofia.\n\nThe most interesting monuments and buildings that can be seen well-lit in the evening are: Alexander Nevski Cathedral - the biggest one in Bulgaria and the second biggest on the Balkans, the National Library, the monument of Vassil Levski - a great Bulgarian national hero, the Administration of the President and the Council of Ministers, the former Royal Palace, the Russian Church, the Military Club, the National Parliament, the National Palace of Culture. You will stop for pictures to some of the main spots as well. \n\nFor dinner you can choose from different set menus, depending on your preferences. There are options for menus based on meat, on fish or vegetarian/ vegan.\n\nDelicious Bulgarian dishes are combined with magic and folk dances. The return is via a different route and ends at your hotel.

Evening tour with food and dance - Evening tour with guide, excellent introduction to Sofia then on to a restaurant in the mountains to eat and watch traditional dancing

Good show if you catch a good table - The Guide, Yani, was excellent, despite being young, he did a great job explaining everything during the night tour. The food at the restaurant, was amazing. Plenty of delicious food with salad, starters, appetizers, main dish and dessert. But the folkloric show, was around 30 minutes and we were at a table with little vision. It's not like a theatre show, but the acoustic in the place didn't favour us because of our bad position and they didn't have mic or system sound or amplifier.
The performance included music, dance and sing. The artists were well dressed with colorful embroidered clothes but that was all I could get. I really felt frustrated because it wasn't a cheap tour and I was celebrating my nephew's birthday. But besides the comment on the folkloric presentation, I had an amazing experience.
