I recommend! - Well organized and with a good pace. We managed to see all the important monuments and learned a lot of history. The guide (Alexander) was very kind and patient with our big group and had a good sense of humor as well as a lot of interesting stories to tell. Museums are closed ln Monday so I’d recommend another day of the week. Otherwise 10/10 experience, would do again.

Excellent tour - I had an enjoyable tour, even the day was rainy. Our driver and tour guide, Alexander, was very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. The tour was organized very well. Plovdiv is a beautiful city, definitely, it worth to visit. The old town is quite impressive and very well renovated. We had enough time to walk through the old and new parts of the town. Thanks, Alexander, for the tour and for taking us in the small and cozy restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed the Bulgarian national cuisine. Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful day of culture and history - We had a fantastic experience on the Plovdiv Shuttle Day Tour from Sofia! The tour was incredibly well-organised and offered a perfect blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Bulgarian history, enriching our day with fascinating stories and insights at each location. Visiting the ancient Roman amphitheatre was a highlight—such a stunning example of historical preservation that brought the past vividly to life. The charming architecture of Plovdiv’s Old Town was an absolute delight, filled with beautifully preserved buildings, picturesque streets, and vibrant colours. We especially enjoyed exploring the churches and museums, learning so much about Bulgaria’s rich heritage along the way. The views over the city from the ancient ruins were spectacular, providing us with memorable photo opportunities. Lunch recommendations from our guide were spot-on, giving us a chance to taste some delicious Bulgarian cuisine. Highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting a meaningful, enjoyable, and informative day exploring one of Bulgaria’s most beautiful cities. A day truly well-spent!

Good organization. Lively and interesting city. - Efficient organization. Good idea of the audio guide formula in your own language as an alternative to the English guide. The lively and interesting city is certainly worth a visit.

Disappointment ! - The tour was a joke. Why didn’t City Tour notify us in advance that they were not providing a guide for the tour. We could have cancelled and gone with another agent. Secondly, why were we crammed in a mini van with the rudest of drivers who made it clear from the word go that he didn’t want to be there. He was abrupt and ignored us completely. Thirdly, we were 8 passengers on the tour all of whom spoke English so why was the guide cancelled . This tour was the highlight of our entire trip. Before the tour, Three local guides indicated that the Provdiv tour was the dream of all guides. I had to juggle between the audio headphones and my phone to cross check with the map they sent me on WhatsApp. My husband didnt bother. You can use this as a review of our Provdiv Tour . Then they insult us with a 10$ refund. Thank you

Disappointed - The driver was super arrogant and rude . We asked several times to lower the volume of ac as it was too hot in the van. And he replied “remove your clothes “. Then he switched it off and open the window. After some time we were cold and asked to put the window up. He replied -“up down up down . Very arrogant . Disappointed
