Well worth booking with Brett - Brett was upbeat, full of local knowledge, shared some cool stories and did a top commentary throughout the day with a great sense of humour. Everyone's needs were met, including having enough leisure time in Kuranda for lunch and a look around. Easy-paced, relaxing day with amazing scenery to boot. Stopped at Palm Cove for a drink before dropping us all off back in Port Douglas, either at your accommodation or in town. Thank you for a memorable day out, Brett, see ya again next time we're in Port Douglas :)

Skyrail, Kuranda & Scenic Rail from Port Douglas - Wonderful trip from start to finish! Our driver Chris and off-sided Bosun were very welcoming and entertaining along the way. Skyrail was a great experience for me as a first timer. More time in Kuranda would have been nice but we managed to see quite a bit in our 2 hours there. The return journey by train is always impressive. It’s a must do tour when you visit the area!

Solo traveller happy - Amazing experience! Rode the train, got lost within the markets, saw butterflies and rode the sky rail - fantastic! Highly recommend. Our driver/host, Chris, was exceptional! He is a wealth of knowledge and humour. He was organised and kept us informed, which is what a solo traveller needs to calm the nerves. Ten point to him. Highly recommend. #freewififoreveryone

Well cared for on a carefree tour - What a great tour - no stuffy formality or overinformative commentary. Chris (& his little mate: Bosun) was personable, professional & yet approachable and gave us each individ.attention. Great storytelling 😁 This tour was organised and catered to all age groups, leaving no fiddly formalities for us to have to navigate. And the return trip playlist had us all boogie-ing in our seats 🎶 We were returned to our accom. doorstep, with a huge smile on our faces. I would easily recommend. Thankyou - loved it.

Great tour - Fun-filled day taking the train to Kuranda, shopping there and retuning via the Sky Rail. Cocktails at Palm Court were a nice way to end the day. Our guide was terrific!

A varied tour, with a twist - We were picked up on time at 10:45, by Chris, our driver, and Bosun, his dog. The transport was clean & comfortable. After a 55-minute drive, during which Chris told us a little about himself & the region, we arrived at the skyrail. The gondolas hold 6 passengers, but we managed to get one to ourselves. The ride between stops was smooth. I would recommend downloading the commentary. It is interesting & well narrated. Stop and explore each station. The views are wonderful. Upon arrival at Kuranda, Chris picked us up & took us the short distance to the main street. I would recommend finding a place to eat first, places begin closing from 2pm onwards. A visit to koala gardens is well worth it. It is the nearest you will get to seeing these beautiful creatures. There are also other interesting animals to see. Our next experience was the railway. We opted for the standard carriage. It was 100 years old and beautifully maintained. Water is provided via a cooler. There is a bathroom and air-conditioning via open windows. There was one scenic stop, Baron Falls. The train stops for 10 minutes, allowing passengers to alight & photograph the view. There are more breathtaking views as the train slowly winds its way down to Freshwater Station, where our train journey ended. Chris & Bosun were there to greet us and take orders for cocktails, for those inclined, at an additional cost. Our next stop was Palm Cove. If not drinking, there is a lovely beach to wander along. Our stop was 30 minutes and then back on the bus for Chris's disco playlist. An unforgettable trip with disco lights included. A lovely tour.

Great and not so great - Tour wise, this was 5 stars. Well organized, timely, a good itinerary. Would do it again with a different driver. As long as no one spoke, Brett gave a lot of information on his loss of business, his loss of money, how hard it is to keep a business alive, and how bad the cyclone was both on the way up and the way down. I was hoping for some area history and a little more info on animals and things to do in the area. Unfortunately I could not ask that because any time someone asked a question they were told he just talked about that (we had two hard of hearing and it was hard to hear in the back). If someone asked a question we were told he had a schedule to speak on and to just listen. If you asked something he’d been talking about but couldn’t hear it you were made to feel dumb. Had no one asked questions, his spiel was fine. I also forgot something on the bus and tried to message to pick it up and got no response. I can see how Brett could be excellent. Maybe it was just an off day. But we paid a lot of money and no one should have been made to feel dumb for asking questions and it sure made us sit there quietly.
