- Rajalantie 200 - Our husky sledding on wheels tour will be the highlight of your time in Lapland. Our fluffy friends love to run! They show their excitement by barking before the beginning of the tour.\n\nWe use summer and autumn to train our huskies for the winter season. So, by participating in this husky tour, you are becoming a part of our husky training. Exciting, right?\n\nYou will firstly receive a brief introduction and instructions on how to steer the cart. Afterward, we will embark on this thrilling experience. As the dogs run through the forest, enjoy the amazing scenery of pure Lappish nature. One cart is shared by two adults. Halfway, we will make a short break to take pictures and drivers can switch. The trail has about 6 kilometers long.\n\nOnce back in the kennel, we invite you to our kota. At the kota, we are happy to answer your questions about huskies, their training and daily life. Listen to stories and find out more about huskies by the fire with a small Finnish barbecue \’97 sausage (makkara), cookies, and hot juice.

wheels as good as sleds - it took about 50minute to go to the husky farm from rovaniemi city
husky ride took about an hour and wasvery enjoyable and fun. 4could ride at a time.
you can steer the ride and huskies were so energetic and eager to run fast that many brakings were needed. guides were kind enough and warm coats were given.
after one hour ride we waited for an hour because the other 4guys took turn and
went out for their ride. meanwhile we spend time with tour guide in a hut eating
sausage and juice. we had a good time.

Must-do in Lapland! - We had an amazing experience with the huskies! We were very lucky the snow arrived early this year, and were able to go with the sledge through the snow. It was really fun to steer the sledge, and also to sit in front. After the sledging we ate & drink something and could cuddle with the huskies afterwards, and ask questions. We also got a small tour on the property, which is a really nice place. The dogs are taken good care of. We were the only ones on the tour, so total duration was about 2,5 hours (without driving to get there). Definitely a must-do in Lapland!

Exciting Lapland adventure - Driving my own husky team with the cart was my highlight during my stay at Parpalandia by far! It's a lot of fun to steer the cart through the forest while the dogs are just so eager and happy to show you what they are made of. The nature around Parpalandia is breathtaking and peaceful, with no other people in sight anywhere.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who would like to participate in an authentic Lappish experience.

Good experience - The best place to look for a real Laponian experience with local people from Rovaniemi. It’s, of course, great to go with Parpalandians hunting for the aurora boreal on a slide with huskies, enjoying a warm BBQ chatting together inside a typical wooden house, seeing nature at its best, sitting inside a comfortable cottage with all amenities, however, listening to the hosts’ adventures and quickly sharing with the stuff was nice. Never forget: it’s always about people... Warm environment and good premises for couples, families and/or big groups
