Request Capitan Everett! - Captian Everett was great! He was informative. He was entertaining! He got us into places to see at least 8 maybe 12 gators. This is the 2nd tour I have taken family on and it has been excellent!!!

The Real Deal - Our tour guide made sure that we had an adventure, he was funny and knowledgable about the swamps. I can honestly say I don't care what mood you're in you will never be bored doing this tour. Our son thought it was the best thing we ever did. The tour guide had made a comparison to this tour to a similar tour ride at Disneyland. I can honestly say that being from Southern California and knowing what ride he was reffering to, I have to disagree, there is no way that Anahiem Rat can compare with this tour. This was real life wildlife and real life swamps, sir your tour blows Disney out of the water. Even my son said this tour is so cool the one at Disney sucks. Be sure to come early and look around before or after your tour.

For spring - great tour even if the alligator were not out - Skipper Dustin or Justin was very entertaining. It was worth driving up to Slidell for this tour . We saw alligators , raccoons, the wishing tree, snakes and spiders .

Great experience! - Very organized! Guides are knowledgeable and fun. We had Devon, and he was awesome!! The kids loved it. We saw plenty of wildlife!

Great family experience - Great experience - fun for kids and adults. Perfect sized boat which allows you to see everything. Saw gators, turtles, snakes and raccoons. Guides do a great job. Highly recommend! If you have a car recommend the self transport version. Takeoff point is easy to find and don’t lose all the time waiting for passenger pickups. Boat Tour itself is 2 hours which sounds long but didn’t get bored.

Great experience - book it!! - So much fun!! If you are on the fence about booking, take the leap and book it. Captain Steve was the best. We saw lots of wildlife and a gator even though it was overcast. I only have one regret - next time I will book with transportation just because it was inconvenient and twice as expensive to Uber or Lyft to the location on our own.

Excellent Swamp Tour - Great trip. Very knowledgeable and humorous guide and saw much wildlife (gators, herons, snakes, raccoons and turtles). If you want to do a quiet swamp tour do it with these folks.

What a blast!! - We had an absolute blast on the Cajun Encounters' Swamp tour with Zander! He was so much fun, what a sense of humor and he shared so many great stories and personal experiences. We were fortunate to see many of the "critters" that call the swamp home and have the opportunity to experience the beauty of this peaceful and mysterious environment; that is when we weren't zipping through the waterways. We will do it again, if and when we return to New Orleans. Thank you Zander and Cajun Encounters!!

Great swamp tour - Our tour guide Dustin was wonderful - knowledgeable and funny. Great for kids. We all learned a lot about the swamp wildlife and ecosystem

Fun tour, make sure you show up at the right location - The tour was fun, the guide was great. But the addresses given with confirmation was incorrect, which made us 18 minutes late for the boat ride and everyone was waiting for us. The address/link said Hwy 90 and it was actually US 90, which is a different location. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience.
