Magnificent - Beautifull cotie and splendid tour with Lena (hope I remember your name properly!). Loads of interesting facts and tips and a very cheap coty. I would have like to have been able to explore more that this was like a touch base and we will be back again to enjoy the city full blast!

The awesome Macedonia - Was a very profesional tour. I learned, what I need to know to have a picture of Macedonia and her history. Good information for to visit by myself again, and have a lunch .

A nice trip to Skopje - An absolute experience recommended for those in Sofia. Although tiring (12 hours of hiking including almost 8 round trip) it is worth both the city (Skopje very beautiful) and the excellent organization and friendly guides, precise and prepared.

If You’ve Got Spare Time…Do It! - This was honestly a great way to spend a full day while in Sofia, assuming you have the time in your schedule. The drive is long, but not brutal—mostly traffic-free and pretty smooth overall. Transportation was seamless and on time both ways, which made the day feel easy and well-organized. Our tour guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable, especially when she came to Macedonian history and the background of the city. The walking tour covers a solid amount of Skopje’s core highlights in about an hour, including the riverfront, Mother Teresa’s memorial, the Stone Bridge, and a walk through the bazaar. It gives you great context without getting overly deep or drawn out. After the tour, you get about two hours of free time, which is fair—but it goes by fast. I’d recommend having a plan ahead of time, especially since lunch needs to fit into that same window. Overall, I’m really glad I took this tour. Skopje is a unique city to see firsthand, and it was a fun way to check off another country in a single day. Definitely worth it!

Driver was amazing! - Our driver was amazing! He met us at our hotel and gave us a lot of information about Bulgarian history on our drive to Skopje. He made sure we were all comfortable and offered advice for lunch. He also made us dinner reservations at a great local restaurant upon our return to Sofia. I highly recommend this tour!

A great little idea for a spare day! - I decided to add this into my itinerary to tick off a country I wouldn’t otherwise do. Given it is off season I wasn’t expecting there would be many others but I actually ended up being the only one! The driver / guide instantly put me at ease with his laid back communication style and passion for travel and it made for a great day. The guide in Skopje was also very pleasant and similarly passionate about her country. Skopje itself is certainly worth a visit but there’s not much of a show stopper particularly - more just nice to say you’ve been. The history is rich and complex (as with many European cities) but it’s evidently also ex-Soviet and financially poor. There’s something of a Vegas feel about it, too, with lots of brand new neoclassical style buildings housing the various museums and governmental institutions. It’s little confusing if you look too close. All that said, do visit and experience it for yourself. The people are friendly, the food is cheap and it’s well worth the day out.

Sofia to Skopje in a day - What I liked was the small size of the group, hotel pick up, comfortable car and smooth driving with adequate stops on the way. The guide in Skopje was informative and cheerful but seemed to be rushed and under time pressure for some reason. I had personal/family reasons for visiting Skopje from Sofia, otherwise not sure if the length of the trip was suitable for average sightseeing. I would have liked an optional audio guide to provide information on the history, geography etc of the area we were passing through as 4 hours each way is a long drive and the driver's attention needed to be on the road so he couldn't give commentary.

Nice trip but short and overpriced - Nice trip but overpriced and short. Travelers should be given more time to spend on their own in skopje. Both tour guides were very professional and helpful. Trip should be cheaper.
