• Mavrovo Lake - The journey begins with a pleasant stroll in Mavrovo National Park, exploring the scenic Mavrovo Lake.
• Monastery St. Jovan Bigorski - Traveling through the Radika River canyon, the next destination is the St. John the Baptist of Bigorski Monastery. This revered spiritual site in Macedonia, dating back to the 19th century, is built on the remnants of an 11th-century church on Mountain Bistra’s slopes. It houses a small silver coffin believed to contain the relics of St. John.
• Duf Waterfall - Following this, the nearby Duf Waterfalls offer a chance to immerse in nature’s sounds and rejuvenate the senses.
• Lazaropole - The journey continues to Lazaropole, a traditional Macedonian mountain village situated at 1,350 meters above sea level. A brief coffee break is followed by a walk around the village, appreciating its natural beauty and distinctive architecture.
• Gari - The itinerary also includes a visit to the nearby village of Gari, located at a similar altitude. The houses, constructed from locally sourced natural materials, provide warmth in winter and coolness in summer. A walk to the Gari River waterfalls and a nature stroll conclude the day, returning to Skopje.
