Hiking through another world! - This was probably the highlight of our trip. We had looked at some of the options from Diamond Beach that were ice caves only but we were glad we decided on this tour instead as the glacier hiking through the ravines was breathtaking and unreal. Our guide, Rab, was awesome. It was a good solid hike with a lot of uphill so make sure you can handle the physical aspect before you book it but this was a well run and amazing experience for us.

When in Iceland, trek or regret! - Trekking on Falljökull was possibly the highlight of our trip to Iceland. We were blessed with a fantastic summer weather, and we learnt a lot about ice, glaciers and crampons. In addition, we had a great guide, who clearly loves what he does and imbues his passion. A day to remember!

WONDERFUL ADVENTURE - Ice Caves and Glacier Hike with Isak - What an amazing experience!! Isak was a fabulous guide: he was knowledgeable about the area, glaciers and climbing, he walked us through properly fitting our equipment and how to use it safely, he took us on a wonderful adventure in the ice cave and up the glacier. We will never forget this wonderful experience with Isak! 10/10!

Amazing experience! - We loved this tour, it was excellent! There were 12 in our group but when we got to the glacier the guides split us in to two groups of 6 which was better for getting around the glacier and into the ice cave. The glacier is absolutely beautiful, we had a great amount of time there, we went to the ice cave first, then hiked up the glacier for a couple of hours, the pace was nice. The guides were great, would highly recommend!

Great time ice caving - This glacier was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the ice caves. The blue and black ice was otherworldly and being able to explore them first hand was amazing. Interstellar is my favorite movie so that was also a major plus for me! Overall a wonderful time and thank you to the ice caving guides!

Warning read before booking. - WARNING WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They supplied the wrong coordinates and meant sending me 1.3 hours in the wrong direction on a very dangerous road. Tried calling and phone doesn’t work. Tried messaging and emailing to get a response a few days later. When I did find the meeting point, the staff who were lovely tried to put the coordinates in and was wrong (had the same issue with someone day before). Tried to get my money back as particularly went up for the trip and they offered me 10% off a future trip 2 days later. I was warned about this company but based on the reviews (which I now doubt are real) I would highly suggest going else where. A friend did it with icelandic mountain guides the following day and loved it. I am fortunate to travel a lot and this was the only bad review I have ever written.

Worst customer experience - The tour company Arctic does not specify the exact glacier hike and is not flexible at all to switch to different tour on the same day without charging the cancellation fees. I took the glacier hike with other company a day before and given Arctic adventures advertised the glacier hike trip without much details I booked it. Visiting there I was told I will be hiking the same glacier without much different experience. I was asked to talk to customer service and advised switch to crystal cave tour with Arctic scheduled in next 1 hr which was more expensive by Arctic guides. I am disappointed that customer service charged me 100% cancellation fees within for first tour after making tons of pleas and charged me second tour. Worst customer experience ever. They are Not all flexible as I still went with their second tour. I hope they can refund first tour charges.
