Excellent tour! Amazing experience ☺️ - Excellent tour. Hiking on a glacier is definitely a unique experience. We did the “Only the brave” tour because I wanted something a bit longer and more challenging. This company was the only one I found that had this kind of tour, combining glacier hiking and ice cave. We walked in the glacier for about four hours. The weather was really good, so the hike was quite easy: two hours walking to an ice cave and more two hours to come back. The views are breathtaking. I absolutely recommend walking on a glacier. Our guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job, which makes the tour much more interesting. We were only four persons on this tour. Much better than the other short tours that go with a bigger number of people. It was a bit more expensive than the regulars tours, but absolutely worth it. If you like hiking, I absolutely recommend this tour ☺️

A superb hike on the glacier. - This was a great hike on the glacier, in a small group. There were 7 of us plus Sofia, our guide. Initially there were several groups, on a first glacier. But very quickly, we found ourselves all alone. The hike was not very difficult for those who are used to walking a little in the mountains. The landscapes were magnificent and Sofia was an attentive and interesting guide. I recommend without hesitation.

Highlight of our 9 Day Iceland Adventure!! - We took the “Only the Brave Tour” with guide Fi and had the most memorable day. We hiked to the upper plateau of one glacier, visited a deep blue colored ice cave, explored crevasses (ice fields), and soaked in the most astounding vistas. It was a challenging hike up the glacier (about 8km), but so rewarding. Fi was attentive to safety, knowledgeable about the glaciers, and really enhanced our experience on this tour. For those considering an ice cave tour leaving from jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, this hike is an entirely different experience (and one I enjoyed more!)

Glacier tour with Soffia (an actual secret cave that most tours wouldn’t take you to) - Our guide, Soffia, gave us an incredible experience hiking the glacier that’ll last a lifetime. The 5.5 hour hike was on the unbeaten path compared to what other tour groups do on this glacier. The ice cave she led us to was secluded and just an incredible natural scene. Most of the tours in this area don’t go here because it’s a slightly more difficult trek. But, we took several breaks and kept a steady pace and it was so worth it. Soffia can also tell you just about everything when it comes to the glacier movements, history, and fun facts about anything in Iceland. It was an unforgettable experience experience and the coolest thing i’ve ever done.

Amazing experience 🤩 - Amazing experience on the glacier, so beautiful! Views are incredible 🤩 During the walk our guide took also the time to explain a lot about the history of the glacier, nature, climate change, and also to take pictures of us in order to never forget this moment! Thanks a lot to our guide Silvia, I will never forget this experience 👍👏👏👏 Best regards from Paris! Matthieu

Incredible views and a knowledgable guide - My partner and I took part in an Only the Brave glacier hike and ice cave experience led by Matteo, and it was incredible! We’ve hiked in the UK but never anything requiring crampons so I was slightly apprehensive, and while not an easy walk the pace was absolutely manageable and everything was explained incredibly well. There was plenty of pauses throughout to explain what we were seeing on the glacier or to take photos. We felt super safe, and had the most amazing time. Matteo was knowledgeable beyond our expectations and the views were incredible, definitely a once in a lifetime experience we really enjoyed.

We peaked!! - This tour is something you must experience! Our Icelandic guide, Ágúst, was a wealth of knowledge about the landscape and the country at large. He was also simply a vibe, and if you want to know how much glaciers move per year (hint: not 7mm) while standing on top of them, you should take this tour. Do you know a water bear is? Do you know what it feels like to put your face into a glacier while your friend films you from below, all while you’re protected from falling into a glacier crevice like an idiot tourist by your experienced tour guide? I now know what those things feel like, and you can too. This excursion was enlightening both in what we saw and what we learned, making it the ideal travel day. Some might even say, we peaked. Thank you Ágúst!!

A beautiful adventure! - Unique and incredible experience, the guide helped my partner feel at ease and face things that would normally have scared her. On a physical level, an acceptable effort without being too difficult. Fantastic landscapes and an indescribable feeling of finding yourself exploring an ice cave after walking on the glacier.
