Stordal was also home to furniture manufacturing and continues to operate in this industry to this day.\nOptional stop for a photo or restroom.\n\n- Ferry Eidsdal-Linge - Cruising Storfjord by ferry. Go to the top deck and admire the majestic fjord surrounded by mountains and beautiful villages.\n- Eidsdal - Enjoy a drive through the picturesque valley of the village of Eidsdal.\nListen to the amazing story about this village and you will learn why even in this remote village there are houses in the Art Nouveau style, just like in \ land, where we begin this journey.\n\n- Eidsvatnet - Eidsdal village runs up to the high mountain glacial lake Eidsvatn.\nWe drive a steep mountain road and stop at a charming lake - Eidsvatnet (425 meters above sea level), which is known as a good lake for fishing. \nThis place offers stunning views of endless meadows with farms. Eidsdal is an agricultural village. Most farmers produce milk from cows and goats. There are several camping (glampings), cabins and room rentals available.\n\n- Ornevegen - Ornesvingen - Eagle Road\nThis tour is available year-round thanks to the Eagle Road. This is the only road connecting the village of Geiranger overland with the rest of Norway’s towns and villages.\n\nThe steepest section of the road is called Eagle’s Flight, as navigating its eleven hairpin bends at 620 meters (2,030 ft) above sea level is a bit like flying through the air.\nAt the topmost bend is the road’s most impressive viewpoint, \ nesvingen, which offers stunning views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Geirangerfjord.\nWe will drive along this stunning road twice and you will have the opportunity to fully enjoy the beautiful views.\n\n- Geiranger - Geiranger Village\nWe will arrive in the village of Geiranger and you will have free time for a boat tour on the Geirangerfjord.\nTickets can be purchased at the ticket office at the pier.\n\n- Geiranger Fjord - After lunch at the restaurant of the luxurious Union Hotel, we invite you to take a walk along the waterfall.\nEnjoy the energy of cascading waterfalls as you descend the stairs into Geirangerfjord.
