The picturesque stretch of coastline between Desenzano and Sirmione is cherished by locals and visitors alike due to its stunning scenery. This particular area of Lake Garda has a somewhat lesser-known moniker: ‘La Romantica’.
‘La Romantica’ refers to the delightful section of Lake Garda’s coast that lies between Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda, named for the idyllic views it provides, perfect for couples. However, it also proves popular with families thanks to its various amenities and open green spaces.
Our journey begins with a tour around the Sirmione peninsula where we’ll take in key attractions such as the Villa Callas, the Acquaria thermal center, and the Catullo caves. We’ll then continue on to Desenzano, tracing the contours of the ‘La Romantica’ coast and indulging in a relaxing boat cruise from the cultural highlights of Sirmione to the natural wonders of Lake Garda.
