Waves and Wonders of Garda - The weather changes quickly and often so have a jacket or sweater just in case. 90 minutes is not enough time to see ALL of Lake Garda from the water. You need to decide on an itinerary. Our Captain, Teodoro, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!

Great day on the lake and religious. - Our boat captain, Damiano Beccari did a great job showing us highlights of the lake and also suggesting a great lunch place.

Excellent tour and guide - We had a very good guide, Daniele, who was able to guide us to beautiful sites on the lake and avoid the rain which was threatening to ruin the tour.

So worth it! - We went on the sunset Prosecco cruise and it was amazing! The weather was perfect and it was such great value for money! And our driver was such a vibe!

sunset prosecco cruise - we did the sunset prosecco trip and it was amazing. great music, the guide was so fun. great value for money. would definitely recommend!!

Proposal Boat trip - I booked this boat trip with Bertoldi Boats to propose to my partner, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth, thoughtful, and just… perfect. Our skipper Damiano was amazing so friendly, super helpful, and somehow even managed to time the weather perfectly for the proposal 😅. He took tons of beautiful photos for us and really helped make the moment feel special but relaxed. You could tell he genuinely cared. The boat was absolutely gorgeous super clean and comfortable, and felt really private. What also really impressed us was how flexible and attentive the team was. We had to move the trip to a different day last-minute, and they were totally cool about it. They even kept sending us weather updates to keep us reassured (we were definitely stressing a bit about rain!). If you’re thinking about doing something special on Lake Garda whether it’s a proposal or just a chill cruise I can’t recommend Bertoldi Boats enough. 100% worth it.

Being out on the boat was... - Being out on the boat was nice but our guide did not speak English well and did not really give us a tour. He tried his best, but it was not a great learning experience.

Underwhelming & Left Feeling Scammed, Sadly :( - Pros: - I genuinely feel the private boat tour is the best way to see the lake and various towns. A different company or captain would have greatly changed our experience. - Ease of pick up/drop off compared to the large tour boats was a perk. Cons: - For what ended up being $1100 after we got charged for extra time due to the tour guide not understanding how to communicate time, we were very underwhelmed by the experience. As a “guide”, Bozhidar refused to help guide us in picking where to go and what was doable within our 4 hrs. This was extremely frustrating as we are clearly not local and didn’t know what route to do and what travel time looked like so we could pick places within our 4 hrs. We asked his opinion MANY times and he would only say “up to you!”. I was under the impression we would go to all the Points of Interest listed in the booking page, and that’s simply not true. You get 2-3 for 4 hrs. - At our last stop when we got off the boat, he told us we had 50 minutes at this port. I even pointed to my watch and confirmed what time we had to return to the boat and he agreed. He even said we had a 10 min buffer for return, he said “not to worry about time.” When we got back to the boat, he told us we were very late (and he was angry!) and we would have to pay 100 extra dollars for 30 minutes. I told him we agreed on the time and he acted like he didn’t have the conversation with me and told me we only had 15 minutes at that port, not 50. I truly feel like we were scammed, it was a really awful experience. - When we came back to the boat and told him what we did he would immediately tell us what we did was “not the most beautiful”, not the best place to go, nor was it good food we ate. It was really rude and off putting that he couldn’t just be like “glad you enjoyed it.” He was zero help at each port so… thanks for nothing and then telling us what we did was not the best we could have done . No recs, but a lot of judgement on what we did. - Spent 20 min looking at some bubbles in the lake that he couldn’t really articulate what they were in English and kept pointing at a picture he was holding to help explain… waste of time stuck in a boat traffic jam. - Overall he lacked enough English to guide anyone English speaking. We have a lot of tolerance for the language barrier and tried our best (we are in your country, I get it!) but he was so awful and RUDE at communicating it was unbearable. I feel since we booked in English we should have been paired with someone who could at least speak to us somewhat

Viator Stinks!!! - The guide spoke No English so I didn’t take the tour!!! My husband and I did not feel safe to get on the boat with them, when they were laughing at us when we asked if they were the tour company booked through Viator. You are the WORST tour operator company!! I REQUEST A FULL REFUND!!!
