Loved this day out to the Dolomites - Amazing day. So easy to join the coach. Scenic all the way. Stopped at great little towns. Highlight was cable car up to dolomites. A fab small town/village on way back that was just beautiful. Comfortable ride.

Dolomite tour from Malcesine - A very good day out visiting the Dolomites Picked up on time Great driver Giovanni very good at negociating the tight winding roads tour guide Francesco was very friendly and knowledgeable Very nice scenery along the journey and a couple stops in lovely places along the way Elephant hotel was nice with Apple Strudel for breakfast although missed out on the chocolate stop didnt seem to be included that day very nice photo stop at Moena Unfortunate rain at the very top of the Dolomites so couldnt see too much but still enjoyable and weve been to the top ! A stop in Ortisei was nice on the way back but could have done with 30 minutes longer there overall a very nice and educational day

A Great Day - Our only disappointment was that the weather was bad the day we went on this tour. No one had control of that and everyone made the best of it. Everything was exactly as described. The pickup was on time and the bus very comfortable. Our driver Giovanni was a very smooth driver and an expert at the many difficult turns in the road. Our guide Francesco was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Although it was an 11 hour day, it did not seem like it. The scenery was beautiful and our guide gave lots of facts and told lots of stories. Then on the way back he was quiet much of the time - which was perfect as everyone was tired. The drop off was right at the time predicted.

Well worth the time and money - It was a long day with lots of sitting on a bus With that being said it was well worth it. We did 4-5 stops which broke up the trip. A couple of them just for quick pictures. The scenery was breathtaking. The commentary by our guide Christine was enjoyable and informative. The trip in the gondola up to the mountain top was amazing as were the views from the top. Well worth the money spent. It was a highlight of our 10 day trip

Sensory overload of loveliness. - I enjoyed this trip although it was a very long day. The coach picked up at 8am and dropped us back off at 19.45pm. The Dolomites were everything I was expecting and had I complete sensory overload of the picturesque landscapes. The guide was very informative. The only negative thing for me was the lack of stops for photo opportunities. The guide had said when we boarded that we would be stopping for photos but we only stopped once.. I was very disappointed with this as I am an amateur photographer and saw so many wonderful opportunities that we just passed by. I feel the half hour stop in the morning for coffee which let’s face it was in a bland town would have been better to have missed and the time better used for photo opportunities as no-one seemed to actually go for refreshments and were just hanging around waiting to get back on the coach. All in all I enjoyed the trip and have decided that my next holiday will be to the Dolomites as I really want to explore all the exquisitely beautiful towns that we drive through.

Disappointing - I was so looking forward to this trip but was left feeling a little disappointed. Some of the views from the bus were simply amazing but at the top of the pass where the longest stop was, the weather was awful and e couldn't do the cable car. I know the weather can be unpredictable but feel this stop could have been made shorter and another stop could have been made further down where other coaches had stopped where the weather and the views were clearer and better. A couple of short stops were quite unnecessary on what was a very long long day just sitting on coach. In hindsight I would hire a car and stop where we wanted or visit the area for a day or two to make the most of what is a stunning location.

Honest thoughts - It was an early pick from Desenzano 630. We knew it was going to be a long day but didn’t realise quite how long. The first 2 and a half hours approx we spent picking other people up. Our first stop was for a comfort break and a drink etc. we then drove until about 11 where we had a 15 minute stop at a waterfall, which was pretty. We arrived at the Dolomites about 12.30 ish. The driver of the double decker bus had great driving skills to get up there. We were told the ski lift took 5 mins we should take 10 mins up there and then 5 mins back, although I would say you should allow for waiting times to get on the cable car both ways. Time at the Dolomites 1 hour and 45 minutes in total also allowed for lunch. We then left and drove to a village which we had an hour to ourselves. We then started the long drive back. We arrived 13 and a half hours later back at Desenzano. It was a nice trip but one that I would not recommend from the south of Lake Garda. There was too much time travelling with only an hour and 45 mins at the actual Dolomites. Lovely views which I am sure would have been better for us had it not been cloudy and rainy but even if the weather had been good, 13 and a half hours for one and 45 mins at the destination was not for us. Also the guide nice guy seemed to just talk for talking sake. However I am sure lots of people enjoyed it on the double decker bus with approx 75 people on it and because there was so many people on the bus it meant so many stops to pick up all those people. Sadly the trip was not one we would recommend

Bus - Sitting on the bus all day, lots of explanation Very enthusiastic supervisor. But we thought we could get out in the Dolomites. We passed a nice high point, but we just drove past it. We stopped somewhere in the afternoon and also in a village in the afternoon. We expected to be able to walk around the Dolomites instead of a village. We were disappointed
