The Mae Ngat Reservoir, a serene water body 60km north of Chiang Mai, extends 18 km across the beauteous Sirilanna National park. A 14 km kayak sojourn awaits leisure riders, meandering through rich wilderness and sprawling water bodies. We typically embark our journey from the reservoir’s western edge under calm conditions, paddling our way towards a collection of floating houseboats, all the while savouring the lake’s refreshing chill. Lunch and beverages are served at a floating eatery. A plunge from a diving tower adds a spark of adventure, while others can explore the captivating bay independently. A day filled with fun at the lake wraps up with the group returning to the kayak drop-off point, basking in the breathtaking vistas of Mae Ngat Valley and Sirilanna National Park.
