• Palacio e Parque Biester - The Biester Palace dates back to the last two decades of the 19th century (1880-1890), and is a Romantic work par excellence, eclectic and exuberant, with elegant elevations that reveal the good taste of the period at its peak. The execution of the magnificent frescoes and carvings, which richly decorate all the walls, was given to the most renowned artists, Luigi Manini and Leandro Braga.

• Castelo dos Mouros - Built by the Moors in the 8th and 9th centuries, it was an important strategic point during the Reconquista, and was taken by Christian forces after the fall of Lisbon in 1147. Considered to be the “crown” of Sintra.
