Join our journey in one of our exceptional Portuguese jeeps. During the journey, we’ll delve into the rich history of Sintra’s crucial landmarks and reveal some of our town’s greatest treasures (including one that’s strictly confidential). In the morning, you’ll get a chance to explore Portugal’s most frequented monument, a UNESCO world heritage site. After the palace visit, we’ll head to the village of Colares, offering you a selection of authentic local eateries for your lunchtime. For the afternoon leg of this adventure, prepare for the most thrilling part where we’ll traverse through off-roads, beaches, and stunning viewpoints. To conclude, we end our journey in Cascais, where you can explore the quaint town center, a few scenic beaches, and catch a train back to Lisbon.

Great day in Sintra with Henrique - Henrique was a fantastic guide. Energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgable. He showed us around his home town and told us some great stories about growing up in Sintra. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well catered for. He showed us so much of Sintra. Well worth having a guide and transport. I don’t know how we would have done it otherwise.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience—I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Europe. Rafael and his partner were truly outstanding guides, easily the best we’ve had anywhere in Europe. Their knowledge, energy, and passion made the entire experience unforgettable. They took us to the most breathtaking viewpoints that we never would have found on our own and introduced us to some of the most incredible food along the way. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and they made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. This tour exceeded all expectations and became one of the highlights of our trip.

Stop thinking about it and book a Jummpy Adventure! - Highly recommend this company if you’re looking to tour Sintra. We had an amazing day, definitely a highlight of our visit to Portugal. Henrique, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and kind. This was much better than your typical bus tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of Our Best Days in Portugal!! - Exceeded our expectations and was the perfect last day in Portugal b/4 flying home. Rafael our guide and driver was awesome!! Customized the day from start to finish according to what appealed to us. Just enough time at each stop. Saw some incredibly stunning beaches and shoreline that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Lunch stop at Restaurante O Croa w/ ocean view. Husband loved octopus rice & I loved pork skewers. Bonus visit to town of Caiscais. Honestly, I can’t recommend this tour and Rafael enough!

More Than a Tour, A Real Local Experience!! - We booked a Jeep tour of Sintra with Ricky, and it was easily one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Ricky is from Sintra, so instead of just a scripted tour, we got real insights from a local who truly knows and loves the area. It made everything feel so much more authentic and personal.
Beyond the Jeep tour, we also used Ricky for two transfers (in a van, not the Jeep), and both were seamless. Before booking, I did my research, and his prices were by far the most fair and reasonable. On top of that, his communication was excellent — quick, clear, and full of helpful recommendations. Thanks to him, we had great suggestions not just for Sintra, but also for Porto, Carvoeiro (Algarve), and Lisbon.
I’ve traveled extensively around the world and had some great guides, but Ricky stands out. This wasn’t just another tour; it was an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering a guide in Portugal, do yourself a favor and book with Ricky.

A Vacation Highlight - This tour was a highlight for my family when we visited in June. Months later my kids still talk about our off-roading jeep tour in Sintra and Cascais — a great way to see the area. Rafael was an excellent driver and guide and took us to lesser known places with amazing views. There was also great communication when booking as well as the days leading up to our tour by both Rafael and his business partner - both of whom are Sintra locals. Highly recommend this company.

Unforgettable Day in Sintra with Rafael!!!! - We had the absolute BEST day exploring Sintra with Rafael as our guide. From start to finish (9:30am – 5pm), he was attentive, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and above all, so genuinely NICE. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was personalized to exactly what we wanted, showing us not only the famous sights but also hidden gems we never would have found on our own.
Rafael’s passion and knowledge brought the history of Sintra to life, but what really stood out was how much fun he made the entire day. He even took us off-roading to see the most western point of Europe — the views were absolutely breathtaking! His food recommendations were also spot-on, making the whole experience feel like the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and local flavor.
If you’re visiting Sintra, you NEED to book a tour with Rafael. He truly made our trip unforgettable, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you, Rafael, for such an amazing day — we’ll remember it forever!

Amazing adventure - We had an amazing weekend with Henrique Costa and Jummpy Adventures!
We spent the first day touring around Sintra and Cascais, off roading and loving the beach vibes he showed us. We also went to a quaint seaside family run Portuguese place for lunch. It was amazing!
The next day, he took us on a seaside charm adventure down to Lagos, from Lisbon. From amazing views to amazing food, we had a great time!
Even after our weekend together, he continued to communicate with us, to ensure we were having a great time!
I can't recommend Henrique and Jummpy adventures enough!
