Sintra - Had a wonderful day on our tour of Sintra. Nuno was a perfect gentleman and looked after our every need. He did his best to get us to the Pena Castle before the crowds. He was a wealth of knowledge. Worth every. Beautiful sunny day. Highly recommend.

Beautiful architecture for the castle and palace - Castle was historic and tedious to climb to the top.Palace was beautifully decorated and organized. Fortunately while visiting the castle there was sunshine and when visiting the palace it started raining. Since it was inside it was alright, may have been able take better pictures outside overlooking the palace if we had sunshine.

A magical place, looks like a fairy tale. The colorful architecture, the details and the panoramic view are breathtaking. Walking through the gardens and viewpoints is a charming experience. Worth every step!

Great day and tour. - We were unable to visit the Moorish Castle due to weather damage but instead toured the National Palace. Our guide Simone was very knowledgeable of the history and background of each site. The pace of the tour was just right. I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful experience! - Great guided tour. Joao was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot of Portugal history and both past and present culture. Due to a recent storm, some of the roads were impassable but Margarida and Joao had contingency plans in place. Very professional! We had a great time.

Fun and beautiful tour! - This was an amazing, fun and very informative tour. Miguel did an excellent job!! We had fun learning about Sintra’s history and enjoying the local food and panoramic views. A tour not to be missed when visiting Portugal.

Awesome Experience - Our guide was simply the best. Best experience we ever had. Pena Palace is unique and eclectic - getting there early was key as it filled up as we were finishing. We had plenty of empty space around us without crowds, waiting or rush. Get there at opening time. Knowing and understanding the history of the Wishing Well at Regaleira makes it a sublime and personal experience. The Moorish Castle was awe inspiring as we had a clear view and then experienced a fog rolling in - made us imagine the daily experience of guards standing along the wall. The town of Sintra is full of quaint shops and very nice, welcoming people. Recommend 5 star to anyone looking to get away from the ordinary.

Visit to Sintra - Our trip to Sintra was one of the real highlights of our trip to Portugal. The Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Regaleira were all amazing sites to visit but the thing that really made our trip special was our guide, Simone Silva. She adjusted the tour to the needs of our group of six. We all had different interests and different physical abilities and limitations, and she did a marvelous job accommodating all of that. She was extremely knowledgeable but did not overwhelm us with her knowledge. She was flexible, fun, and insightful. I would highly recommend this tour and strongly encourage anyone taking it to request Simone as a guide.
