Excellent way to quickly learn about Singapore. - We visited Sigapore for the first time and decided that we should experience the local food. We chose the Small Group Food Tour with Hawker Center: Eat Like A Local with our guide Su Ling. Our guide was well prepared. She had plates, bowls, spoons and wipes in case anyone needed it. There were six people in the group. We visited nine different restaurents and this included travelling by bus a couple of the stops and walking to the others. Su Ling included foods from all the various etnics groups in Singapore. All the meals were very good and she gave us the history behind each meal and Singapore itself. We enjoyed this tour very much and learned a lot about Singapore. We highly recommend this tour and expecially Su Ling as your guide.

Amazing Food Experience - My husband and I attended this food tour and we really enjoyed the experience. The group size of 8 was just right and i would not want there to be a bigger group. We ate so many good foods and the guide was wonderful with her explanations of each food and location we visited. i would recommend others to try this experience.

Singapore is known for its food, this is a great way to try many of its options! - The food tour was awesome! We were able to try so much delicious food from many of the different cultures in Singapore! It truly is six hours of eating (which I personally thought was awesome). Richard, our guide, showed us so many wonderful neighborhoods and food centers in Singapore while giving us little facts about the history of the city along the way. He even had a plan of action where he was able to get food for our group & have a back up plan if any stand/restaurant was too busy or closed. The Hawker Center was a huge highlight. Not only did we eat some AMAZING food, we also felt confident in navigating other Hawker Centers in the area. Richard made it clear which places had bathrooms along the way (a nice perk for a long food tour). I think this tour is well worth the time and the money in Singapore. Richard also helped everyone navigate the metro to get back to their hotels. He even walked some members of the group down to the subway (even though it was out of his way and he was getting the bus). This was so nice of him!

Perfect way to learn about Singapore and have your taste buds delighted - On a business trip and had just one day to sight see in Singapore. This trip was perfect and Richard was an excellent guide. If you love exploring food, you get to sample and learn about Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Indonesian food. While walking and taking buses you get to see parts of Singapore you won’t see on a business trip. And Richard provided a historical narrative of Singapore as well as insight into Singaporean culture and values today. I thought six hours might be a bit long. But it wasn’t. Was a perfect way to spend my day of sight seeing. Very, very glad I did this.

Fun foodie tour in Singapore’s diverse neighbourhoods - Singapore is one of the world’s great food destinations and we’d highly recommend this tour to explore its varied cultures and cuisines. Our guide Pamela was great fun and a knowledgeable guide. And the food, from hawker centres to hidden gem restaurants, was delicious. Apparently, there are people who think a six-hour food tour is too long. Not true! The time flew by, and servings are small enough that you can easily pace yourself.
