Sampling Singapore Taste with Jay - Jay was a wonderful guide for our day walking around beautiful Singapore and sampling many delicious dishes. Jay took us to some great local spots and shared with us many interesting facts and historical information about Singapore. Jay was super flexible with time and meeting place. I highly recommend Jay if you are looking for a great guide to walk you around Singapore! He sent us pictures from our day and even bought me a gift - as I was visiting on my birthday!

Great day with Kenny!! - Fabulous tour with Kenny who gave us a wonderful sense of what makes Singapore the successful Country it is with its diverse cultures and ethnicities. We strolled through the three main ethnic areas, sampling food and popping into shops and ended the tour with going through the Marina Harbour and the absolutely amazing Gardens by the Bay! Don’t miss that!! The entrance fee is high but more than worth it!

Superb tour - can't wait to do another one! (With Joanne!) - Cannot underline enough how brilliant this tour was! We had Joanne who was superb - detailed and clearly passionate about her country and heritage. She took us to the pre-war housing area in Tiong Bahru which was enriched in local history. She answered all our questions and gave us a real insiders view of what local life is like, giving us a full history briefing on the development of Singapore. Really fascinating!! My husband and I will be back in Singapore in September and have already told the tour company that we'd like Joanne back for another tour!

Great tour, highly recommend! - We were in Singapore for only one day (cruise ship passengers), and this tour helped us make the most of our limited time. Our guide. Shake, was very kind and funny, and he shared lots if interesting information about Singapore. Prior to our tour, he asked about our interests and built an itinerary accordingly. He was also flexible on the day of the tour by making excellent suggestions and adjusting per our preferences. We really enjoyed this tour!

Singapore walking tour that ticked all the boxes - Even before our private walking tour started, Colin, our local guide, was super communicative via email and WhatsApp, and he was really keen to understand the type of experiences we'd like to see in Singapore to make the tour personal for us. He shared a detailed itinerary based on his extensive local knowledge, and including a few specific locations we'd mentioned based on reviews we'd read and a previous trip to Singapore Our meeting point, location and time were agreed well in advance with confirmation updates the day before, all very reassuring. On the morning of our tour, Colin was on time and stood exactly where we'd agreed to meet him. He was immediately very friendly and helpful and re confirmed the itinerary and was still very flexible and open to changes as the tour proceeded. He was also very quick to understand our walking pace and level of physical ability, especially in the heat. Our tour included a mix of the classic locations; tour of Chinatown including Chinatown Complex, a walk through Clarke Quay and the Singapore River and on to Fort Canning Park, a walking tour of Fort Canning, including historical locations at Fort Gate, Battlebox, Fort Canning Heritage Gallery and Spice Garden, then a scenic walk down Canning Rise passing local landmarks including the Armenian Church and Central Fire Station. Colin included a rest / snack break at Funan Digitalife Mall before heading on to a specific location we'd requested on the Singapore River to replicate a photo at Boat Quay from our honeymoon in the 1990's (Colin was super helpful and captured the perfect replica 2024 photo). Our tour then continued through the Colonial District passing more local landmarks including St Andrew’s Cathedral, the National Gallery, Padang and the Asian Civilisations Museum. We then crossed the Singapore River via the historic Cavanagh Bridge, and walked through the Fullerton Hotel (with very welcome air conditioning) towards Merlion Park and the Marina Bay. Our tour concluded with a walk to Raffles Place to the heart of the Central Business District. Colin was able to answer many of our questions along the way, and spoke clearly in perfect English, but if he didn't know a particular point, he would say rather than just making things up. We thoroughly enjoyed our walki g tour experience with Colin, and would highly recommend it. As a general point, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, ensure you have a hat, and carry water to drink along the way, and be realistic about what you can achieve physically given the temperature and humidity levels in Singapore.
