Highly Recommend - This tour was everything and more than we thought it would be. Tham was great. She was informative, interesting and extremely knowledgeable. She is an asset to this tour. We learned more about the food of Singapore and Chinatown than we thought possible. We tried some amazing dishes. Highly recommend this tour and Tham. Only suggestion we could suggest is to update the meeting point. With 2 addresses for us North Americans was confusing. To say “the corner of Upper Cross and North Bridge by the MRT” would be much clearer for us to understand. Fortunately Tham waited for us as we were late getting to the meeting point.

Great food, interesting history - Our guide Sam conducted us on a fantastic tour of Chinatown, taking in four varied and authentic food stops, encompassing differing influences on the Singaporean cuisine. The hawker centre is like nowhere else. The historical aspect of the tour was also very interesting and Sam was able provide some fascinating insights. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience a few of the the delights this part of the city has to offer.

The absolute best Hawker and China town history tour, recommended choose this one - We were so well looked after by Sam. He knew everything about history and hawker stalls in Chinatown. Sam took us to amazing Hawker places and we loved the food at all the places. The tour gave us so much, Sam had so much knowledge about all the places we passed. Choose this tour when visiting Singapore. We are so pleased, the tour gave so much more than we expected. Can say that it is probably the best guided tour we have ever been on. Thank you so much Sam for your knowledge and wonderful care of us.

Singapore Great Chinatown Disappointing - We enjoyed the ambience/atmosphere of Chinatown in Singapore. But, the rest of it was disappointing. There were very few cushioned seats in the restaurants. That was a huge problem for me. The restrooms were not clean. There was no toilet paper in the toilets. Some places had vendors who sold TP, but others did not. Some toilets, as in a number of countries were holes in the floor where individuals needed to squat to do their business. Not good for someone with bad legs. Restaurants did not provide napkins for some reasons. We didn't get to the chicken/Michelin experience, but the rest of the food in Chinatown left a lot to be desired. At least that which was touted as excellent. We didn't go to any upscale Chinese restaurants which I expect would have been far superior. I thoroughly enjoy Chinese food so the disappointment was great.
