Impressive castle in Silves and beautiful river/ocean front town of Lagos. Best views of Cape Saint Vicent. - Our tour guide, Johnny was prompt in picking us up at the designated area and happily entertained us with historical anecdotes along the way to various stops. The first stop at Silves, we were instructed on how to reach the castle (entry was not included) and given an hour and 10 minutes to see it plus the surrounding town. The castle didn’t disappoint and the town had a quaint architecture. The town church was closed unfortunately as well as the museum. The second stop was the oceanside town of Lagos which was very impressive with its churches, fortress walls, colorful boats along the river canal, and quaint little streets filled with local restaurants and shops. Johnny took us to a small restaurant for lunch (not included in the tour price) which we paid 22 Euros per person for all you can drink (wine, juice, or sodas), bread, olives, cheese, prosciutto, a main dish (choice of chicken, fish, blacken pork or vegetarian dish) and a slice of cake for dessert. Well worth it and delicious. The last leg of our tour was Cape Saint Vincent (also known as the end of the world). The views were overwhelmingly astonishing. No pictures can do it justice. You have to experience it in person to comprehend it’s majestic beauty. Definitely recommend this tour although it didn’t include costs of castle entry and lunch (costs approximately 28 Euros in total).

Enchanting Experience - It was a fantastic trip.We saw so many beautiful places and our guide Johnny was very friendly and had an amazing amount of knowledge.We had a lovely lunch and were collected and dropped off at our hotel.

Lovely day pit - This was a lovely trip, the driver was knowledgeable and friendly and there was plenty of time at each stop. The only negative I would say about the experience was the lunch. We ordered the grilled chicken for €22 each and did not feel it was valid for money but others had a different meal which they enjoyed.
It was great to be given information about each location then being able to go off and explore.

Don’t book with trip advisor - The trip was v good but I had to pay extra to change my day to avoid awful weather. I should have cancelled for free and rebooked. Unable to get through to company to complain . The actual tour company made no such charge

Drama due to not enough legroom on the bus - Legroom on the bus was far too little. My wife and I have an average height, but I was definitely 2 inches short of legroom. As a result, I sat for 11 hours with cash pain and have virtually nowhere to walk due to pain in my back and knees. Most participants complained about the legroom. Excursion was booked from cabenas via tui.
