- Rancho Del Rio - Hop in a raft with your guide and friends, and paddle down the scenic Upper Colorado River! Sections of Class l & ll rapids in narrow canyons alternate with pasturelands and a riverside hot springs that we’ll stop at, flows permitting. At higher flows there is a chance of a Class lll rapid or two.

This stretch of the Colorado River showcases picturesque landscapes ranging from meadows and valleys, to sweeping ranch lands and steep canyon cliffs, as well as a variety of wildlife, including ducks, geese, bald eagles, deer, beavers and big horn sheep – always offering engaging sights.
Our most loved family-friendly rafting trip is along the Colorado River. Its origin is in the snowmelt high up in the Rocky Mountain National Park; it is here that the mighty Colorado River is born within the Colorado Rockies. Further downstream from the national park, the river’s temperament escalates through the renowned Class 5 ‘Gore Canyon’, before calming down a bit further on. This is where our Colorado River Rafting adventures kick off, providing a friendly introduction to white water rafting for families and groups seeking an unforgettable Colorado vacation.

Beautiful views, wonderful guide! - We had a great day rafting with Tanner! He was happy to share his expertise and knowledge with us; super upbeat & infectious attitude for rafting and life. Tanner was great ensuring everyone had a ton of fun while being safe at the same time. No surprise, but Colorado views were amazing to boot :) Hope to come back next year for the rafting and jokes!

Super Fun Experience - Rafting on the Colorado was a terrific experience! Tanner, our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about rafting the river and the ecology of the river and surrounding terrain. Additionally he taught us the basics of reading the river to pick the best navigational opportunity. Although extremely serious about the inherent dangers in rafting and stressing safety above all else, his humor and personality made the trip even more enjoyable. I would recommend this 1/2 day trip with Tanner to anyone searching for the best way to spend an afternoon in colorful Colorado.

White water rafting review - Had a great time rafting with the Colorado Rafting Company! Connor was our guide and we had a fantastic time. This is the company I always bring my friends to, especially for first time rafters! Request Connor every time, he's safe, funny and will go out of his way to make sure you have a good trip. Can't recommend these guys enough

First family trip rafting - Trip was awesome and made even better by our guide, Corbin, and TL, Connor. The river scenery is so beautiful. We had kids ages 6-11 with us and they were nervous. After 5 minutes on the river, they loved it.

Fun for the whole family - Loved the trip with Connor! Great guide made it fun and safe. Wish it could have lasted longer. The duckies were a great improvement over Kayaks so we bounced off the rocks! Weekday was much less crowded than weekend. We’ll use this tour company again.

Book this outfitter now! - This is my 4th trip with this outfitter - can’t recommend them enough! Connor & Jake entertained us & answered all our questions on the shuttle to & from the site. Our guide Corbin was hysterical! We had a raft of 4 adults & 4 kids, & Corbin managed to provide an exciting trip for us all while keeping us safe. His instruction & leadership were superb!

Fun for beginners!!! - Wonderful experience and can't wait to do it again!!!! The guide and other staff members were courteous and entertaining!! I would highly recommend this trip for beginners. The scenery is spectacular, and you have plenty of opportunities for photos. The booking was so easy. We all completed the on-line consent form, however 1 of 5 wasn't completed upon arrival, not a big problem, but you may want to check before the day of your trip.
