-temples/sigirya rock - Amazing service. Team was super accommodating with the itinerary. our driver Silmy was fantastic and brought us to local stops for food/coconuts along the way! 5 stars, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Sigiriya & Dambulla Day Tour - Great trip with Ifran to Sigiriya and Dambulla. He could not have been more accommodating and was really attentive and informative throughout. He’s also a great driver which was comforting as the driving style in Sri Lanka is a little different from the west. Great day out and would highly recommend.

Cave temples, a place fortress and elephants galore! - Fantastic day, trip of a lifetime! We packed in a lot to this day trip from our base in beautiful Kandy, Thanks to driver Mr Irfan, who arrived early and got us in our way, the large car was very comfortable for us (2 adults, 2 kids, & bags), and drove us safely through the busy roads full of tuk tuks, buses and bikes, we even nodded off for a few extra zzz. MR Irfan is very knowledgeable and pointed out interesting sites as we passed, temples, rivers, a dam. Quick stop at a herbal & plant centre was v interesting and included snacks and a restorative massage. On to the day’s main events, the cave temples at Dambulla, we made sure to dress appropriately but we were hot! This is an incredible site, so beautiful. You can buy flowers on way up the steps, or items of clothing to cover up if needed. Next we headed to Sigirya Fortress, and climbed this rock for amazing views, it’s not for the faint-hearted but so worth it. If you don’t like heights, you can go halfway to the lion’s paws. We had a guide here and it made a big difference for us. What a special place, not to be missed, and could easily have spent longer. A short drive on to the the elephant safari and transfer to a jeep, this was an amazing experience, so many elephants, and peacocks and other wildlife. It was great to observe the elephants and didn’t feel like we were bothering them which was very important to us. This was a lot of driving and Mr Irfan kept us informed of things to notice as we drove, we had delicious snacks and fruits (red bananas, lemon bananas 🤩) and plenty stops for water and toilets. He made sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and had plenty of options and suggestions. We could not have had a better day, and wholeheartedly recommend Mr Irfan and Aaliya tours for trip planning in Kandy. This made a huge difference, especially travelling with kids, and not being used to the heat. We were so comfortable, learnt so much and already planning another trip as there is so much to see around Kandy. It was great to be able to relax in the car and know the driving was in safe hands.

Fantastic Day Tour and Service from Aaliya Tours - We booked a driver for 3 days with Aaliya tours and did the Dambulla and Sigiriya tour from Kandy on day 2, with some bonus time at a national park for an elephant safari at the end of the day. We saw so many wild elephants! It was an excellent day trip and the service from Aaliya Tours was excellent from the moment we booked. Fantastic communication beforehand about itinerary, pick-up times and other logistical details for each day. The support team was very friendly and always fast to respond. Our driver Mr Irfan was superb. He arrived a few minutes early each day to pick us up and was super friendly and full of information about lots of different places that we passed. Also very considerate with toilet, water and snack breaks during long journeys. His driving was great as well, and we felt very safe throughout each journey. The car was very comfortable too, spacious and clean. I can’t recommend this tour or Aaliya Tours enough. They’ve helped make our trip to Sri Lanka unforgettable and also very easy and fuss free. We would definitely book with them again!

An unforgettable experience!! - I can’t praise this day highly enough - Ifran was an incredible tour guide, he showed us around two temples and took us to a herb garden and gem museum. He also showed us some local food stalls to try Sri Lankan fruit, snacks and traditional rice and curry (this was the highlight of our trip!!). We climbed Pidurangala which was very fun and provided excellent views. On top of that, we got to see so much wildlife - monkeys, peacocks, mongoose and birds of prey. Ifran told us great stories about Sri Lanka’s history and culture throughout the day - this is a day that I’ll never forget!!

Jam packed day & lovely Mr.Shamin! - We had a very excellent tour, Shamin was an excellent tour guide & driver. He took us to various spots that in addition to sigirya rock & dumballa. We were able to try to new foods, drink coconut water, try on sarris, see various plants, visit lots of temples and he helped us take many photos! Shamin was very kind, generous and helpful. We did not feel rushed and felt like we were able to experience many things across the 12 hour day! Comfy and relaxing car journey! Would highly recommend this trip and especially Shamin!!! We had a great day - mother & 2 twenty-ish year olds! :)

A truly memorable experience! - We took a day trip to Sigiriya from Kandy and it was an absolute highlight of our holiday. I am 4 months pregnant and our driver, Mr. Silmy was a kind and careful driver. The car was very comfortable and he made sure we knew exactly where to go to get tickets etc. at each attraction. This was one of the best days of my holiday and not one to be missed! I would recommend it to anyone coming to Sri Lanka

Excellent Day Tour to Sigiriya and more - What a great day we had with Irfan and his driver! Professional, polite and friendly guys! Irfan showed us beautiful and very colourful Matale Hindu Temple, Herbal Garden (where we learned about different plants and also had a 5 min back massage!), spectacular Dambulla Cave Temple and cherry on the cake Sigiriya Lion Rock. We decided to climb it and it was worth it despite the heat as the views are amazing from the top. We had also an introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine - lovely tradition lunch (payable separately) and few snacks on the way. Thanks to Irfan we tasted new things and we even bought some delicious fruit on the way. Overall I can’t recommend this tour enough! You save time and you are in good hands!

Couldn’t recommend enough; really special day! - My friends and I had such a fantastic day with our lovely guide Irfan. The trip itself was amazing and definitely well worth a visit. Irfan was really helpful, friendly and informative and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great day. We enjoyed delicious food along the way - including a stop off to try yummy Sri Lankan fruits. Sigiriya is stunning and a must-see. The day itself was a long one, jam-packed with many amazing sights, so it was great to have Irfan there to drive us around and provide us with information along the way, making it all a breeze!
