DAY 02: Sigiriya – Anuradhapura
Mihintale - After breakfast, explore the sacred city of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals, renowned for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient civilization. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Ruwanvaliseya, and Sri Maha Bodhiya. Later, visit Mihintale, a mountain peak near Anuradhapura, believed by Sri Lankans to be the site where the Buddhist monk Mahinda met King Devanampiyatissa, marking the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka.

DAY 03: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - After breakfast, visit and climb the renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Following this, visit the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its ancient urban planning. The site is dominated by a massive rock column nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high.
Polonnaruwa - Polonnaruwa is the main town in the Polonnaruwa District of North Central Province, Sri Lanka. The Kaduruwela area is the Polonnaruwa New Town, while the other part remains the ancient royal city of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa.
DAY 04: Sigiriya – Kandy
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - After breakfast, travel to Kandy, stopping at Dambulla Rock Cave Temple along the way. Explore a spice garden and a batik factory in Kandy. In the evening, enjoy a Kandyan dance performance and visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic).
DAY 05: Kandy – City Tours & Shopping
Kandy - Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and serves as the capital of the Central Province. It is home to The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred Buddhist worship sites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, which houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. Visit Kandy View Point, stroll around Kandy Lake, and enjoy a shopping excursion at Kandy City Center.

DAY 06: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Royal Botanical Gardens - After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden before proceeding to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea factory en route. Later, visit Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. The Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya attract 2 million visitors annually and are renowned for their orchid collection. The garden features over 4,000 plant species, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees, covering a total area of 147 acres (0.59 km²). Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights) is a resort city in Sri Lanka’s Central Mountain range, situated at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft), and is a key location for tea production in Sri Lanka.
Gregory Lake - Lake Gregory, also known as Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in the heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873, the lake and its surroundings form the Gregory Lake Area.
Nuwara Eliya - Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens showcase roses and tree ferns and are home to monkeys and blue magpies. DAY 07: Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama
Ravana Ella Falls - After breakfast, head to Tissamaharama, visiting the 26-foot (8-meter) Ravana waterfalls en route. Check in at the hotel, then embark on a Jeep safari in Yala National Park in the mid-afternoon.
Yala National Park - Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. It combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. The park is renowned for its diverse wildlife and is crucial for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, and aquatic birds.
DAY 08: Tissamaharama – Mirissa
Galle Fort - After breakfast, transfer to Mirissa, visiting Hambantota Salterns and the Stilt Fishermen at Weligama along the way, followed by Galle Fort. Galle is the capital city of Sri Lanka’s Southern Province and reached its peak development in the 18th century during the Dutch colonial period. It is the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia.
Hambantota - Hambantota is the main town in the Hambantota District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. This underdeveloped area was severely affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and is undergoing significant development projects, including a new seaport and international airport completed in 2013.

DAY 09: Mirissa - Whale Watching
Whale Watching in Mirissa - After breakfast, embark on a Whale and Dolphin watching tour. Whale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities in Sri Lanka. The warm waters around Sri Lanka are ideal for spotting blue whales, Bryde’s whales, sperm whales, fin whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and occasionally killer whales. Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, and striped dolphins can also be seen. Whale watching tours typically start around 7:00 am as boats leave the harbor at that time and last about 3.5-4 hours. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.
DAY 10: Mirissa - Colombo / Bandaranaike International Airport
Colombo - There is no planned itinerary for the day. After breakfast, depart for Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your flight.
