This unique journey will let you taste premium wines in a Medieval cave that traces its history back to the Etruscan era, 600 BC, a unique location that remains the sole public-accessible site. Here, you will cherish an unparalleled wine sampling of Sienna region’s finest selections.
The Brunello di Montalcino, acknowledged as one of the top 100 extraordinary wines worldwide by Wine Spectator magazine, is also included.
As part of the tour, our accredited guide will provide a brief overview of Sienna’s past and offer assistance and recommendations on local cuisine and places of interest to visit during your stay.
Please take note that due to the private nature of the venue, the number of attendees is capped at 12 per day.

Fantastic wine tasting. - Our guide , Ester was fantastic! We learned a lot about the wines from that region and loved the Enoteca where the wine tasting took place!

Fascinating and informative plus great wine - Our Siena underground wine tasting was a fabulous experience. The history behind the cave at the back of the wine shop was fascinating and the subsequent wine tasting experience was top quality. Frederico was very knowledgeable whilst also being very easygoing, so the session was perfect for us.
There was an issue to start with as the address on the ticket was incorrect but Aviator managed to sort it out and it did not spoil the occasion. A definite 5 stars from us!

Excellent Private Wine Tasting and Fascinating History! - Our guide pointed out hidden Siena gems (St. Catherine's home, beaurtiful views of siena, etc.) as she walked us to the location of our private wine tasting in the medieval cave. There, we had a wonderful time as Frederico presented excellent wines, including the Brunello di Montalcino, and the history and background story of how the etruscan crypt was discovered. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Experience - The wine tasting completed a perfect day in Siena. Enjoy exquisite wines in the midst of a miedieval cave amongst amazing hosts. This was an unforgettable experience where we indulged in Italian history, delicacies and warm hospitality. So grateful to Morad for showing us yet another breathtaking experience.

DO NOT MISS THIS HIDDEN GEM - This little wine shop has a huge surprise for guests that makes it a delight for people who are looking for unique experiences in Siena. Worth the trip from Florence. Plus, its underground so you can escape the heat and the wine is bellisimo!!! Don't miss this!!!

Lots of fun and very informative! - This was lots of fun. I surprised my friends with this and we all loved it. We were met by the very lovely lady Angie who gave us a brief tour of the old town and then took us to the wine tasting. Very cool sitting in a medieval cave and tasting some of Italy's lovely wines which was very informative.
