As you traverse the tranquil hills of Siena, you’ll find yourself amid lush olive orchards, vineyards, and cypress trees. You’ll visit the striking Towers of San Gimignano and its historic center. San Gimignano, a small fortified medieval borough, is renowned for its beautiful towers and its Vernaccia white wine, made from the ancient Vernaccia grape that thrives on the area’s sandstone hills. Next, you’ll head to a genuine Tuscan farm to discover the secrets of wine making and enjoy a lunch of either Lasagna or handmade pasta, with a tasting of 8 wines included. After lunch, you’ll tour the splendid medieval Castle of Monteriggioni. On your return journey, you’ll have another wine tasting at a local Chianti winery situated closely to Siena.
