Monreale the Duomo

Monreale - Our driver will meet you at your hotel reception at 09:00 to take you to Monreale, where you will meet our expert tour guide. The trip from Palermo center to Monreale is a 30-minute drive. Monreale’s basilica is renowned for its stunning architecture, magnificent interiors, and opulent chapels and furnishings. The mosaics, covering 6,340 square meters, are the largest in Italy, crafted by Byzantine artisans between 1180 and 1190. Entry to the Duomo requires a fee.

Palermo - After exploring Monreale, enjoy a guided tour of Palermo’s center, visiting the Cathedral, Teatro Massimo, 4 Canti, and Fontana Pretoria. At 01:30 pm, our guide and driver will bid you farewell, leaving you free for lunch and shopping. Our driver will provide a program copy and recommendations for further experiences, such as the mafia museum. Entry fees apply for the Theater and Cathedral.

Castelbuono

Castelbuono, Province of Palermo - Meet our driver at your hotel at 09:00. The journey to Castelbuono takes about 60 minutes. A tour guide is not necessary for this itinerary, as our driver will provide a paper guide. The medieval village’s highlight is the Castello dei Ventimiglia, founded in 1316 by Count Francesco I of Ventimiglia. In the center, enjoy a complimentary tasting of the famous dessert, Il Panettone di Fiasconaro, available year-round in Castelbuono.

Cefalu - The drive from Castelbuono to Cefalù is 30 minutes, and the ancient city is best explored on foot. Our driver will provide a map and can arrange a seaside restaurant lunch featuring fish specialties. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Cathedral, with its exquisite Byzantine mosaics. Near Palazzo Martino, admire a medieval washhouse filled by the Cefalino river, said to be fed by a nymph’s tears. Depart Cefalù at 4:00 pm, with a 60-minute drive back to Palermo.

Palermo to Agrigento Transfer with Tour

Erice - Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at 08:30 am for a transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Agrigento. The first stop is Erice, a 70-minute drive away. Erice, shrouded in mist like a goddess, offers a spiritual escape with its sweets and liqueurs. The journey to this medieval village, perched on Mount San Giuliano at 750 meters, is mystical.

Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco - From Erice, it’s a 40-minute drive to the Saline, where you can admire landscapes of salt, sea, and mills. A boat trip with a guide is available.

Parco Archeologico Selinunte - Lunch is on your own, but a quick meal is advised due to travel times. Visit Selinunte, Europe’s largest archaeological park, with remains of the Greek colony founded in the 7th century BC. Selinunte is named after wild parsley, or sélinon in Greek.

Agrigento - After Selinunte, it’s a 2-hour drive to your Agrigento hotel. Consider booking outside the city center, such as the 4-star Baglio della Luna or 5-star Grand Hotel Villa Athena. Dinner is on your own.

Agrigento to Ragusa Ibla Transfer and Tour

Valle dei Templi - Our driver will pick you up at 09:00 am for a 15-minute drive to the Valley of the Temples entrance, where you’ll meet our specialized tour guide. (Entrance to the Valley is not included, but the guide’s fee is covered.)

At 04:00 pm, check in at your pre-booked hotel in Ragusa Ibla. At 11:30 am, depart for Ragusa Ibla, stopping at 01:30 pm for lunch at a winery. Enjoy a vineyard and cellar tour, wine tasting, and lunch, all included in the tour cost. Dinner is on your own in the center.

Guided Tour of Ragusa Ibla

Ragusa Ibla - Meet our tour guide at 10:00 am for a walk through the village center. Ragusa Ibla, a Sicilian Baroque gem, features a beautiful Duomo and historic buildings. It’s a UNESCO Heritage site. At 12:30 pm, our guide will leave you with free time for lunch and dinner. Our driver will provide a map indicating the entrance to a noble palace, TRIFILETTI AREZZO, which you’ll visit at 06:00 pm. Today’s program, palace visit, and tour guide are included in the tour cost.

Sicilian Baroque Tour

Scicli - Sicilian cooking class. Our driver will pick you up at 09:30 am for a 10:00 am arrival in Scicli, where a Sicilian cooking class awaits. You’ll prepare your lunch with the dishes you create. The class focuses on seasonal Sicilian cuisine, such as pasta alla Norma or ricotta cannoli. The class costs €80.00 per person and must be booked 15 days in advance.

Modica - The drive from Scicli to Modica is 30 minutes. Explore the ancient village with our tour guide. By 5:00 pm, you’ll be in Modica, visiting the Cathedral of San Giorgio, and by 06:00 pm, you’ll return to your hotel in Ragusa Ibla. Dinner is on your own.

Ragusa Ibla to Siracusa Ortigia Tour Transfer

Noto - Our driver will pick you up at 09:00 am. After a 60-minute drive, enjoy a free visit to the baroque city of Noto. Our driver will provide a map for your self-guided tour.

Isola di Ortigia - By 12:30 pm, you’ll arrive at your pre-booked hotel in Syracuse. We recommend staying in the historic center, such as the 4-star Algilà Hotel or 5-star Grand Hotel Ortigia.
