• Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna - Your driver will meet you at the port exit gate, holding a sign with your name on it. After departing the pier with your local driver, the journey will take you along the winding roads of the mountain slopes, leading to the Silvestri craters, situated approximately 6,000 feet above sea level. To the ancient Greeks, Mount Etna was the domain of Vulcan, the god of fire.

Standing at approximately 3,350 meters (10,922 feet), it is Europe’s tallest and the world’s most active volcano. Past eruptions have caused significant damage to Catania, with lava flows reaching the sea multiple times.

The journey continues to Taormina, but first, there will be an exciting stop at a winery nestled in the lava of the Etna volcano. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the winery, a lunch featuring typical Sicilian products from the area, and a guided wine tasting (priced at 45.00 euros per person).

In the event of adverse weather conditions, visiting the volcano may not be possible. We will tailor a program change to suit your preferences, such as a visit to the Cyclops coast or a Godfather tour to Savoca. At the village entrance, you will find Bar Vitelli, showcasing a collection of local artisans’ tools and photographs taken during Francis Ford Coppola’s filming of The Godfather II in the area.

Please note that travel times on small Sicilian roads can be slow. To visit multiple sites, it is recommended to take small breaks. However, our driver is at your service, and if you prefer fewer visits with more relaxation, that is perfectly fine with us.
