Beautiful tour through lagoons and cerulean seas! - This is such a great tour and a beautiful place to see! Gorgeous turqouise waters, curvy lagoons to explore and loads of wildife! We say dolphins, sea turtles and many different local birds! Our guide, Rich, was incredible - super funny, knowledgable, friendly, interactive and adapted to our group who had both English and French speakers! We ate a delicious meal in Punta Allen (with vegetarian option for my girlfriend). What an amazing day my girlfriend and I had, would go back and do it again! Thanks to Rich for making this day so awesome :)

Sian ka'an - We had an unforgettable time. We saw dolphin, turtle, crocodile, bird of all kinds, we bathed in turquoise water which is called here pool but we would like to have pools of this kind at home 😊. Nikita a was an incredible guide, she passed on her passion for animals and Mexico to us with such fervour that we could have stayed hours to listen to her. A magnificent trick that will remain has never etched in our memory. I strongly advise.

An enjoyable and memorable day. - Booked the tour through ‘MKT tours Playacar’ the hut by the shops, who exaggerate the animals that you will see, such as land animals, and stick money on top. The "Sian Ka'an Deluxe", operated by FisherNatours, was an enjoyable and memorable day. I was annoyed by the confusion caused by the man at Playacar who said we would see lots of animals before we embark on the boat ? We were told that we would then see Manatees, Crocodiles, Turtles and Dolphins. As we set off towards the mangrove swamps the tour guide for the day ’Flavio’ gave a commentary in English for me and my wife, then in French for the others on the tour. racing across the open water, we came to an abrupt stop as the boat driver spotted something at the edge of the mangroves, we slowly approached a crocodile which we had time to study in the water as did the following boat. As we then raced towards Punta Allen through the lagoons we saw many different birds , that were all explained in detail by our guide, coming to a stop next to a small island full of pelicans and Frigate birds. We did manage to find turtles in an open stretch of water not far from Punta Allen in the open lagoon in open sea, this was down to expert knowledge and searching by captain and guide. There was a snorkeling opportunity in deep water not far from the reef and open sea, I felt uncomfortable, but did catch sight of a ray underneath me, I was too uncomfortable to carry on. We then drove to a stretch of shallow water and were encouraged to take off life vests and have a swim, it was a struggle for my wife who has a physical mobility issue to climb back into the boat, which should have been explained on booking! We arrived at some huts by a beach at Punta Allen, which was once used as a hideout by Captain Blackbeard. The buffet was traditional Mexican, I had fish cooked in Tequila with rice, and was assured that I could return to get a plateful of the Chicken Mole, which I did, and both were great. When we left to head back it was said that we were going to search for dolphins, which we did and was successful. It was explained to us how shy and therefor hard to see were the Manatees. Great Day !

Nothing good to say… - Nothing much good to say. After being picked up, we made 5 more stops picking up people for the excursion, making the trip way too long. The van was crowded and uncomfortable. There were no changing rooms or rest rooms anywhere on the tour route. We did make a stop at a gas station and paid 10 pesos each to use the facilities. Not enough stops in what turned out to be a 10+ hour day. Also, too much time was spent traveling to get somewhere (either by van or boat) and not much time was spent exploring the reserve. Tour guide was advertised as speaking our language but everyone else on our excursion spoke French, so most of the guide’s time was spent speaking French. He did give some brief details in english, but his accent was hard to understand at times. His knowledge about the reserve also seemed limited, or he choose not to share it. Overall, definitely not worth it.

False promises. Worst trip ever. Total waste of time and money! - Worst trip ever. Total waste of time and money. The operator has no intention at all to provide you a pleasant trip. They rush from one point to another. The whole day felt like a 6 hour nonstop transport. Food is really bad. Guide's english not possible to understand because of heavy french accent.
