Day or night. Prefer the calm serenity of a photoshoot and tour at a temple to the bustling city aesthetic? That is no problem! I host Tokyos largest photography meetup twice weekly at various parts of the city so I know a lot of great spots to tour if somewhere outside Shinjuku is preferred.
• Omoide Yokocho - Otherwise called Memory Lane is a charming and small alleyway of cramped little bars and eateries in Shinjuku where people meet for drinks and dinner for a quintessential Tokyo experience.
• Kabukicho - Kabukicho in Shinjuku is the most densely packed, neon-burning, boisterous yet safest red-light district in Asia and, possibly, in the world. Very tourist friendly and a must see!
