- Cooking Sun Tokyo - All necessary ingredients and supplies, including an apron and a towel, will be provided for participants. The class is designed for small groups, with a maximum of 8 people, ensuring everyone is actively involved.
Wagyu has become a globally recognized term. “Wa” signifies Japan(ese), and “Gyu” means beef.
In this class, participants will employ various techniques to create a complete lunch, from appetizers to dessert. The instructors are friendly, English-speaking locals eager to assist. They will share tips, stories, and occasionally some secret techniques for each recipe. This cooking class offers a cozy atmosphere for cooking.
As is customary in Japanese cuisine, each class will commence with the preparation of “Dashi,” the essential soup stock. The instructor will also introduce some typical Japanese seasonings that are commonly used.
Participants will then prepare 7 dishes, learning both traditional and modern recipes, food presentation, intricate cutting techniques, and unique Japanese ingredients. The main dish will feature exquisite, tender Wagyu beef.
Once all the cooking is complete, it will be time to say ‘Itadakimasu!’
