Perfect way to see Mt Fuji while experiencing local food and culture - We started the tour by meeting with Hiro, our guide, at a convenient and clearly marked location in central Tokyo. She provided an overview of the day when we boarded our private bus and then handed each family a bag of complimentary candies to help with our energy level throughout the day. We traveled about 1 hour and 20 min out of the city. We stopped at the rest area along the way for snacks at a convenience store. We then got to Hakone where we boarded a majestic ship to cross from one side of the lake to the other. The views on the lake were serene! Once we got to the other end, our coach van then picked us up and took us to the Ramen Factory where we had a cooking class. The instructions by the chefs were excellent and our food turned out to be delicious! Next, we went to a shrine and walked up a nice observation area for Mt Fuji. Afterwards, we had some shaved ice and colas. Our final stop was a cultural village where there were lots of street food vendors and also a popular area for drinking natural spring water from Mt Fuji. By this time, the clouds errr starting to lift our tour guide Hiro quickly found us so we could get some family pictures with Mt Fuji in clear view! We returned to Tokyo by 5pm at Shinkuju. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting out of the city and seeing Mt Fuji while experiencing local food and culture.

Perfect well-rounded experience!! - I first chose this because it picked you up and dropped you off at the same place. That was important to me. The leader, Hiro, was just wonderful! So full of information and so gracious, cheerful and patient. The bus also was very comfortable. The cruise on the lake was such beautiful, There was a gentle breeze and everything about it was just calm and wonderful. The trip to the Pagoda, though daunting at first to climb the stairs, was wonderful and worth it! I am nearly 70 and I made it all the way!! The Ramen making experience was one of the best. It was so much fun and yet the product was so very good. There’s no better way to have lunch! Then we went to the last park and to our great amazement, Mount Fuji decided to grace us with her presence. The view was completely clear and available for lots of pictures. I tried several foods I had never even thought about before and enjoyed each and every one. This was truly the perfect experience.

Peaceful tour with a variety of fun experiences - This was a pleasant day tour that gave us a chance to get out of the hectic, bustling city of Tokyo, and see the outlying provinces. We enjoyed Hakone, and the peaceful ride on a luxurious boat, as well as the fun cooking class at the ramen factory (yum!), the idyllic Sengen Shrine in Asakusa, and the delightful cultural village at Ochino Hakkai. We drank the waters from Mt. Fuji’s springs, and tried some delicious street snacks. And lucky for us, even though often in this season it is hard to see Mt. Fuji through the cloud cover - we were fortunate to have the skies clear while strolling Ochino Hakkai, so we could see the summit! A really perfect day!

- A great day trip out of Tokyo. We booked this one because it had the best blend of activities and sites to see on the way to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. The timing of each stop felt about right. The boat trip across Lake Ashi was beautiful. My kids love ramen and how can you beat being able to make and eat your own while in Japan? The hosts were energetic, fun and helpful. While we didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji from the boat we lucked out and were able to see it from the Arakura Fuji Sengen Park, which I understand is not always the case in July. We would have disappointed if we didn’t get to see it, but the rest of the trip was great even without it for those wondering whether to risk it. Our guide Hitoshi was very friendly and happy to answer questions. I personally like to have guides share more information, but we definitely got all of the basics. I would highly recommend this tour.

A great day at Mt. Fuji - I had a great time doing this tour. I thought it gave us a nice overview of the area. My favorite part was the ramen making! A truly unique experience everyone should try! The views of my Fuji was stunning from the pagoda. It was partly cloudy but still beautiful and worth the trip! Our guide Manabu was very good! Very knowledgeable and very helpful taking pictures of us and giving us good advice to enjoy our trip. I would highly recommend this tour. There is a decent amount of walking at the shrine so wear comfortable shoes!

Beautiful experience on this Mount Fuji Bus Tour! - I went on this tour with my family and it was absolutely a blast! We went to so many fun places such as the Ramen Factory where we made our own ramen, Lake Ashinoko where we sailed on the Hakone Pirate Ship, Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine where we visited the shrine and took photos with Mount Fuji, and Oshino Hakkai where we visited all the little shops and looked at a variety of different ponds with koi fish! It was truly a magical experience! Our tour guide, Manabu had such a fun energy as well making it 10 times more fun! If you're in Japan, I truly recommend going on this tour!
