Ward’s Lake - Also referred to as Pollock’s Lake, this artificial lake is surrounded by a vast, lush garden and is located in the heart of the city. Named after Sir William Ward, the then Chief Commissioner of Assam, who initiated the lake’s creation.

Police Bazar - A contemporary market featuring numerous hotels, shops, and eateries, catering to the diverse needs of visitors. It is ideal for leisure seekers, shopping enthusiasts, and food lovers, offering ample facilities for everyone.

Shillong Golf Course - Known as the “Glen Eagle of the East” or “Gleneagles of the East,” this historic 18-hole course was established in 1898 at an altitude of 4,750–5,200 ft in Shillong, Meghalaya. It is celebrated as one of the oldest, largest, and most picturesque natural golf courses, nestled among pine and rhododendron trees.

Cherrapunji - One of the wettest places on Earth and the only location in India to receive rain throughout the year.

Elephant Falls - Located approximately 12 km from Shillong, Elephant Falls are just a short drive from Shillong Peak. Named by the British after a large elephant-shaped rock near the falls, which was destroyed during an earthquake.

Mawsmai Cave - A network of underground caves filled with stunning and sometimes eerie stalactites and stalagmites.

Nohsngithiang (Seven Sisters) Falls - This waterfall represents the seven northeastern states: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram, and Meghalaya. The falls are divided into seven segments over the cliff, offering a breathtaking view as clouds pass by.

Nohkalikai Falls - The tallest plunge waterfall in India, located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on the planet.

Arwah Cave - The Arwah Caves in Meghalaya are easy to explore, with well-marked paths and guided tours to enhance the experience.

Mawkdok Dympep Valley - Also known as the Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge viewpoint, it offers dramatic views of a deep V-shaped gorge covered in lush greenery. Mawkdok-Dympep Valley combines scenic tranquility with adventure, offering activities like ziplining across the gorge or posing in traditional Khasi attire, making it a delightful stop on the Shillong–Cherrapunji route.
