Great foody tour - Joseph was a great guide around the market. Insights on the food as well as taiwan culture and history. Make sure you try the peanut ice cream burritos and skip the stinky (!) tofu.

Shilin Show - My friends and I had an amazing time and our tour guide May was sooooo sweet and an amazing guide. The food she introduced us to was so tasty and we had a blast! Would love to go back to Shilin now with the knowledge she gave us.

Fantastic night market tour! - We had a lovely tour with May Ei! We ate amazing food in places we never could have found ourselves, and she told us about tons of interesting details regarding the market, Taiwanese culture, and even gave us recommendations for what to do on the next few days of our trip.

Best night market tour you can have - May Ei was outstanding in every way, communicated early, gave precise meeting points, communicated so well. She then took me to the great Shilin Night market, allowed me to eat delicious foods, we took five stops!! ended with a temple. She having lived in the USA our connection was easy. She made it a most enjoyable tour and gave me pointers about other things to see in Taipei. May Ei is naturally talented guide and loves what she does.

Great tour for families - Deep knowledge of area food, including where to go and where to skip at the market. We really appreciated his patience when our bus ran late! We still got to take in so much of the market. Plus, he was great at discussing foods with our kids and us, so the kids could make choices about what they wanted to try.

Pleasant evening at Shilin - This was a very comprehensive introduction to the Shilin market. We learned a lot of history and tried some interesting food. I would suggest that more input on personal tastes is requested so that the tour is more enjoyable. I wasn’t too crazy about some of the food. The last tasting wasn’t done because the vendor wasn’t there but an alternate should have been offered.
