A Shibuya Must Do Food Tour! - Jacob was an outstanding tour guide. Go hungry, we had massive amounts of food options. - way beyond our expectations and we travel a lot. Jacob is extremely fluent in the Japanese language and very knowledgeable about Japanese history and culture. An enjoyable and memorable experience. Ask for Jacob. This tour will not disappoint!

Awesome food tour in Shibuya with Maya; perfect for families! - Had the best time on a nighttime Shibuya food tour with Maya. My family joined this tour with just 1 other attendee so it was essentially a private tour. Maya is a native English and Japanese speaker and was very passionate about showing us the best in Japanese food and explaining the culture. We ate a ton and, more importantly, had a blast and went to places we would have never otherwise found. I highly recommend this company and ask for Maya!

Amazing food tour in Shibuya - We did the evening food tour in Shibuya with Jane and we had so much fun! She was super knowledgeable about all the food we ate and pointed out lots of cool landmarks and areas within the shibuya neighborhood. We got a much better understanding of where we were by having her expertise and being able to ask questions as we went along throughout the evening! We left STUFFED with how much food we had on the tour.

A tour in Tokyo not to be missed - Melissa was a brilliant guide. She was so knowledgeable not only about the food which was delicious but also her insight into Japanese culture which made the tour so much fun. We would highly recommend the tour with Melissa. Great tour with a great guide and certainly a highlight of our stay in Tokyo.

Ver worth while!! - Jane, our host was remarkable - very professional and most knowledgeable about the food in the 5 different restaurants/eating places we visited. Also she slowed our walking pace to that of our slowest person which was much appreciated. We strongly recommend Jane for others

Fun, delicious and informative! - Jane was amazing! Toured us all around Shibuya and gave so many interesting facts. Food stops were all incredible and she explained the history of every dish. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a fun food tour in the most bustling part of Tokyo

Great food tour for family with Ray - Ray was a brilliant host, we had so much fun. We were visiting Tokyo with our 3 young adult daughters. We all enjoy trying out new places and food and have enjoyed food tours in the past so it seemed a great idea to try one in Tokyo. Ray took us to places we would never have found or tried by ourselves and they were all great. The ramen was delicious and sushi was fab, and cooking okonomyaki together was good fun. Ray gave us some great tips on Japan, food, eating and etiquette and showed us around a fun area of the city. The photos were really good too. Thanks Ray!

Nice Experience - Great Guide - Average foods - The Shibuya district was more vibrant than any I had previously been to in Tokyo. We made three stops for food and one for dessert. While our guide was excellent, with good English communication skills, I would consider the restaurants chosen to be average to below average. We did have a variety of Japanese foods and beverages.

Overpriced and disappointing! - Best part of this food tour was the host! Unfortunately, with one exception we did not enjoy the food. The stop at a small family owned ramen place was good, but the other stops were sub-par for the price of this tour. We had sushi, chicken wings, okonomiyaki, and dessert at the other stops. The sushi and okonomiyaki restaurants were very touristy (we do food tours to check out local favorites), the two pan-cakes between 6 people were barely enough food. The chicken wing place was also nothing to write home about. For dessert, the host bought packed baked goods from a store and handed them to us before we dispersed, we have never seen it done like that. Overall, we spent over $930 for the four of us and were extremely disappointed. We do not recommend this food tour.
