Empty stomach needed - My guide was Hiromi, very nice Japanese lady. She communicated with me via WhatsApp beforehand about my dietary restrictions and if I have an opinion about the food suggestions. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t nice, it’s drizzling pretty much during the tour so made the walking part not as pleasant as it should be. I am not a big eater so i was pretty full after sushi and bbq meat. I would suggest not to have big breakfast for your food tour day. Overall experience was good.

Food tour in Shibuya - Naoto did an amazing job taking us to 3 traditional Japanese places. The food was delicious. He explained what the different foods were and gave us history about the Shibuya area.

Chisato saved the day! - My wife and I showed up at the right time and the right place, but could not find our guide. It was very crowded at the dog statue, and we walked and walked. We called them and a very nice man answered the phone on the first ring. He immediately got into action and promised us that within the hour we would have our tour. We soon got a text via WhatsApp from Chisato. She would be there by 12 PM. We went and had a delicious iced latte and a few minutes after 12, she found us. After that, we had a wonderful four hour private food tour. At the first restaurant, we cooked our own Wagyu beef and beef tongue. Wonderful and delicious. Then we went for sushi. I’ve never had standing sushi before in my life. It was delicious and memorable. We went to Miyashita Park and had a nice sit down break. We went to the Shibuya Mark city food court called the Tokyu Food Show. It was unbelievable. Three stories of beautiful food items of every kind imaginable. We had a Doryaki dessert. Thank you, Chisato for saving the day for us. I was really looking forward to this food tour and it was great!

Go hungry and have a blast! - Great tour in such a lively area! My friend was sick so I went alone, and I was the only person so I got a private tour! Amber was fantastic! She was sweet and knowledgeable and shared history with me as well as food. And aahhh, the food!!! Be bold and try it all! Amber knows her food! Sushi, BBQ, octopus balls, Mochi. I was stuffed and loved every bite!
