Highlights
  • Roppongi Hills, Shop & Restaurant - Along the way you will pass the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower building, home to many prestigious international companies, upscale shopping, and fine dining.
  • Tokyo Tower - Seeing the Tokyo Tower from the C1 Loop Hwy at night is an incredible experience.
  • Rainbow Bridge - On the way we will cross the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge with views that are simply divine, spectacular, awe inspiring. There are many places that you can see Tokyo at night but this one can only be seen from the car, and what a view it is!

On one side you will see a spectacular city scape full of lights and on the other, equally impressive lights of Odaiba island with its amazing Fuji TV building.

  • Tatsumi 1st PA - There are many ways to experience a vibrant city like Tokyo but nothing compares to a night run on the highways around the city.

Looping the iconic C1 Hwy, immortalized in video games and in car lore, weaving between buildings and through tunnels just hits different. Night scenery is spectacular.

We will take a 20min break at Tatsumi PA, a place where many car enthusiasts come for a stop while making loops on the highway or getting ready to head to, or are coming back from Daikoku PA.

Approximately 30-40min of driving in comfort and 20-30min stop to stretch your legs.

  • Odaiba District - While crossing the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge you will get great views of Odaiba, the man-made island home to residential buildings, shopping, and leisure activities. You will get a chance to see the unusual Fuji TV building among others.
  • Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Departure Area Airport Lounge - We will pass through the Haneda Airport through tunnels under the runways. If we are lucky and the time is right then we can see airliners taxiing above us as we enter the tunnels.
  • Yokohama Bay Bridge - Just before arriving at Daikoku PA you will get an amazing view of the Yokohama Bay Bridge and off the Yokohama skyline. Yokohama is a major cruise ship stop and you may see those also.
  • Daikoku Parking Area - Heading towards your final destination we will take the Wangan Hwy. This is a long straight highway connecting Tokyo and Yokohama made famous by the street racing escapades of the ‘90s and a manga, aptly named Wangan Midnight.

Ever since then it has been the artery connecting key epicenters of Japanese Car Culture.

Daikoku PA is an unassuming parking area that has been a place for nightly car gatherings for decades.

You can see iconic JDM machines from stock, classic to wild time attack builds, from drift machines to Kaido Racers, and from obscure to highly popular. There is probably something for everyone there.

You will also find plenty of Euro metal and American muscle. If you are lucky, you may see supercars, vintage classics, lowrider, and hot rods, you name it.

You will be driven in comfort for 30-40min and rest for 2hrs to stretch your legs, shop, and drink if you so desire.

All along we will immerse you in the stories behind the car culture and life in Japan.

  • Minatomirai - On the way back you get a beautiful view of the Yokohama city skyline, Minatomirai area, and Yokohama Port.
  • Rainbow Bridge - One of the best views of the Tokyo city skyline is from the car when you cross the Rainbow Bridge from the Odaiba side to Tokyo….breathtaking.
  • Shibuya - On the way back to Shibuya you will have more opportunities to see the awesome night views of Yokohama and Tokyo.

The crossing of the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge from the Odaiba side to Tokyo is among the most spectacular views of the Tokyo skyline.

The drive back will take 45-60min with even more opportunities to take photos/videos while engaged in fun conversations about cars, the people, and life in Japan in general.

Awesome experience for car fans and if you enjoy night views/drive~ - Michael was an amazing host and guide! He took us to Daikoku parking lot right away since it was a holiday on the day we went. We spent 2hrs+ at the parking lot looking at some amazing cars and they just kept coming in one after the other. After that we went for a ride on the C1 loop and the highways through Tokyo which gave us some amazing views of the city and some of its landmarks. We also had great conversations about cars, life in Japan and other things along the way and overall a great experience that I recommend for everyone!

Spend an Evening and Have a Great Car Experience - Definitely book this experience if you have a child or teen or young adult who is a car enthusiast. I took my 13 year old grandson on a Monday night, which isn't the most crowded and he still loved it. Michael is Australian, I believe, and has gained the trust and friendship of several of the car enthusiasts that show up. There are classic, up to Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Michael's acquaintances allowed my grandson to sit in some of his dream cars. Michael taught him how to pose for photographys. The best recommendation is that my twenty year old grandson is going to Japan next year and I told him to definitely book a tour with Michael. We booked through Marriott and even got Marriott points. If you can book on a weekend when it is very crowded, I think it is a longer and better experience, but great and worth it even when we went.

Awesome experience! - It was an awesome experience! Michael was the perfect host, with his vast knowledge of the car industry, we learned so much during this trip😃. We saw quite a lot of cars, both old and new, and of course my favorite the R34 GTR! At the end Michael agreed to drop us off to a different spot to our choosing, which was so nice of him. We wished we could have spent more time with him as he was really an awesome person, but unfortunately we were pressed by time. I hope that he expands this business so that more people will get such an awesome experience!

Daikoku PA tour. - Met Mike at this pick up spot right on time. He picked us up in the 2021 Nissan Skyline 400. We stopped at a popular hang out spot for a few minutes then continued across the rainbow bridge. We got to the PA around 1830-1900. The lot filled up pretty quick and there were definitely some great rides! I encourage you to say hi to drivers and talk to them. Overall great experience and Mike was good company and conversation.

Unforgettable JDM Car Experience - Michael, our tour guide, was fantastic right from the beginning communicating with us regarding our pick up spot. Throughout the tour, he was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately, Daikoku was shut down by the police that evening. However, Michael used his contacts and we were able to drive to an alternate location, Umihotaru, where we were able to soak in the experience of numerous cars that had re-routed from Daikoku that evening. Thank you Michael for this unforgettable experience for our family. We would definitely recommend your tour to anyone wishing to get the Daikoku experience.
