Highlights
- Sharm El Sheikh - You will be transferred from your hotel in Sharm El Shiek to Taba by a modern air-conditioned Vehicle; the way takes about 3 hours and a half. You will be met and assisted at Taba to take the boat to Aqaba, and then you will move directly to Petra for a full day visit. The tour includes the red rose rock city, the city of the Nabataeans, the lost city which is all carved in the mountains, riding on a horse to the Siq (canyon) which is a natural crack in the rocks, walking through the 1.2 km canyon and enjoying the beautiful carvings of statues, idols and niches.. On your way, you will be able to see the treasury which has been standing there for over than 2000 years, then, you will continue along the facades street to the Roman theatre, royal tombs, the Roman colonnaded street and Qasr al-bent. Lunch will be served and then you will be transferred back to Aqaba port to take the cruise back to Taba, finally, driven back to your hotel in Sharm El Shiek Note: In case of an urgent cancellation on the part of the ferry, or booking on other days out of the schedule, you will be transferred through Taba borders to Arava Borders to cross to the Jordanian side.

Petra from Sharm by cruise - What an amazing day. This was a place I always wanted to see. It did not disappoint. Kind, efficiant and great comms. A must do trip for any visitor to Sharm.

Magnificent and truly amazing - A magnificent and truly amazing and mesmerising place to experience. One of the new 7 wonders of the world.,Must visited in Jordan, One of the most beautiful ancient sites I've ever been to. The locals are kind and very accommodating. The museum and trails are very nice and well maintained. Thanks Charming Egypt tours For Pick up in time ,the nice Smile From Staff , it's really amazing trip thanks.

Absolutely magic, one off the bucket list - We travel from Sharm el sheikh, good bus air conditioned, the guides were very good, comfy ferry boat, the food wasn't great but maybe it's just me. Petra itself was absolutely gorgeous every bit as we expected. All in all a very well organised trip, no complaints whatsoever ,well worth the money paid. I recommend it to everybody.

Petra was wonderful - the tour company is not - Communication from the tour company was non existent. We had to reach out to find out information on pickup time (which if we had not called we would have missed the pickup by three hours). No info on pcr testing, nothing. Adding insult to injury we got put on a bus with a Russian speaking guide that spoke very little English. The air conditioning on the bus ride home also didn’t work. Almost four hours in an uncomfortable oven.
We were also charged $100 per person more than everyone else on the tour.
Absolutely visit Petra. Wonderful place, wonderful people.
Do it with another tour company.
