Best of hike on Kilimanjaro Africa 7 Day Machame Route - I booked with Rede Tours and Safaris for organizing our climbing trip on Mountain Kilimanjaro. I had no idea on which route I should have considered on our climb, after consulting them Nalisis was a person who come into contact and advised on our hike, first by asking how much we were experienced in climbing, will it be a first time to climb Kilimanjaro and how many we were in group. After all the questions Nalisis advised us to consider 7 Days Machame Route, why because Machame route allow acclimatization and also is among the best popular route with success rate of 85%. After all we booked with Rede Tours for the Hike of 7 Day Machame Route Kilimanjaro. Up-on Arrival In group of 5, We were welcomed warmly with great joy and happiness, Nalisis sent a driver to pick us from Kilimanjaro Airport to Hotel. Good enough the package given included 2 nights at Kilimanjaro White House in Moshi, the first night on arrival and the second night after climb. 7 Day Climbing via Machame Route We had good preparations including the brief given from the office by the Guide, with big long wall there is a map of Kilimanjaro Climbing Route, our Guide started explaining to us how the climb will be and what are we expecting and the whole plan, after that the Guide checked us for equipment inspection and finally we were able to start the journey to the gate. Our Climb We had the best climbing ever in our life, the Guide was very good and knowledgeable, skilled and well experienced by climbing 30 times on Kilimanjaro. The food was nice allowing us to gain more energy day after day. Porters team and all assistance played a great job to make sure we are making it via all points of Climbing Machame Route, from the Machame Gate to Shira, Lava, Barranco, Barafu and the summit point Uhuru Peak at 5895 m at the top of Mt.
